  The Super Readers program is a great program! My daughter started in November after early signs of struggling with reading and writing in Grade 1. It was affecting her confidence and love for learning. Ilona was so reassuring that my daughter would be reading and writing better in a couple of months.   I have been attending this tutoring agency with my older son in math for several years. The math tutoring has been fine but has not brought any improvement in my son’s grade after several years. I added my second child (gr 5) for language support in the fall of last year. I would definitely not waste my time or money if you are looking for writing support. The tutoring support has consisted of often very dated and basic worksheets such as copying spelling words or correcting punctuation in a paragraph. I reached out to the director to discuss my frustration and ask for specific narrative writing support. While they apologized and promised a change in focus, I received almost the exact same worksheets moving forward. I reached out again to cancel services outlining my concerns and the director suggested my son be assessed for math tutoring instead as he might get more out of it?! Highly frustrating given the high costs of tutoring services.
