We joined Access Ballroom at the beginning of January to put together a first dance for our wedding. When we first joined, we brought our two left feet and our excitement to try something new together. Gil has been a great teacher every step of the way. From teaching us the basic steps to some more complicated spins, he's been patient while we stumbled and gave us clear direction on how to improve. We've put together a Tango routine for our first dance and excited to show everyone our new moves. Along the way we got to try some other dances like chaha, bachata, waltz, foxtrot, and salsa. We found these lessons some of our favourite parts of wedding planning so far - we're always laughing, enjoying the moment, and trying to improve every day. Whether its for your wedding, as a date night, or to surprise a special someone, I'd totally recommend Access Ballroom for anyone wanting to learn to dance.

Gil is a fantastic teacher! Prior to this, I have never danced before and did not think I could. Gil is very approachable and makes concepts easy to follow and understand. After just a few lessons, I was able to learn an entire routine for our first dance! I highly recommend Access Ballroom Studio for anyone with an interest in dancing no matter your skill level!

My fiancée and I wanted more than just the typical back and forth wedding dance you see at most wedding so we decided to take advantage of a free lesson here. We ended up getting a package for more lessons and they’ve helped tremendously! We had no clue what we were doing when we first came and after a few lessons on doing the rumba we’ve learned multiple moves and feel way more comfortable moving to our song. Gil is an amazing instructor and is great at what he does. He keeps the lessons fun and moves at your pace so things stick. Highly recommend for anyone getting married or curious to dance!

Looking for the Best dance location in the Beaches area? Access Ballroom is an amazing dance studio. I'm so happy that they came to Leslieville. (right next to the Beaches area.) I've been to a few different dance schools and some where they just want to pretend to teach you but have no structure, they just leave you with the feelingof being lost. On the other hand, Access Ballroom is a place that is fun, has a dance syllabus that helps students growth and encourages them to practice and achieve a goal. They have social dance parties like the Valentine's Party, Halloween Party and Christmas Party. They also attend dance competitions regularly as well. To see more video content go to their Instagram profile. It's no wonder their students dance with such good quality and their students keep placing 1st place at the competitions. I've tried their Salsa Classes, Kizomba Classes, Swing Classes, Tango Classes, Hustle Classes, Rumba Classes and Bachata Classes. Oops 😬, I forgot the Salsa Rueda Classes which has been so much fun. They really do set themselves apart from all the others. They have a great atmosphere, amazing teachers, great community and really make you feel like you are getting value for the money you are spending by actually making sure that you walk out each day understanding what was taught.
