Alderwood Memorial Park — Kid-friendly Outdoor Play in Toronto, Ontario
- Ages all ages
- Outdoor
Alderwood Memorial Park is a lovely outdoor space in Etobicoke that offers a refreshing escape for families looking for some fresh air and a place for kids to explore.
What to expect
This park provides a green space for families to enjoy outdoor activities. While it's a park, it's important to note that it is an outdoor-only venue, so a rainy day might not be ideal for a visit. It's a good spot for a casual outing where children can run around and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Best for
Perfect for a sunny afternoon picnic or a casual stroll with the little ones.

Alderwood Memorial Park AKA Sheldon Park is a great park for kids for walking your dog. I only suggest if any chance possible they put a water fountain in there for kids and people to drink

A lovely little park in Alderwood. Sit in the shade, under a tree and just relax. Some of the park users litter and leave their cigarette butts, which is unfortunate. The city landscapers keep it nice. Lots of trees. Quiet.

This park was alot better before the "restoration" years back when Sheldon Park was renamed Alderwood Memorial Park. Before the addition of a ditch, new tree's planted, there was plenty of room to play, run around, frisbee, football, soccer, baseball games. A sunfilled park. Current day there are many mosquitoes from the added ditch, there is not enough room to have multiple outdoor games. On the bright side there is 9 swings and 2 playgrounds. The park itself is clean. Garbage and recycling bins available.
