AVNS has a lovely small-community feel with engaged and caring educators and support staff. The kids get lots of outdoor time to explore nearby parks and green spaces which has been a highlight.

It has been wonderful having our child have so much outdoor and forest play, and Tasha has been instrumental in advocating for this! This is one of the main reasons we chose this daycare for our child! We have always found her and her staff more than accommodating and respectful! We really appreciate this!

our son has been going to AVNS for just a little over a year. He was moved to preschool just recently. The application of forest school's principle to maximum outdoor play was the key draw for us. The educators are very patient and they develop great attachment with the kids. In addition to the wonderful educators, the onsite chef makes delicious food that's nutritious and homely.

We have had two kids that have been in the program and we love the dedicated staff that put the children as a top priority. The classrooms and outside areas were recently renovated and they are beautiful and engaging. The educators regularly bring the children into the community (forest, parks, gardens) which is what we love the most about this daycare program. I will say that since the arrival of Andrew Fleck at the school in January the heart and soul of the school feels less personalized to the children, focusing more on policy and bureaucracy.
