  My fiancé and I booked a trial lesson at Arthur Murray Ajax with the hopes of learning some dance moves for our first dance at our wedding. I didn’t expect that in the span of 3 weeks we would work with incredibly talented teachers to learn a fully choreographed routine! We had so much fun during the process and Emily and Kamila were such talented and fun teachers to work with. The lead up to the wedding was a stressful time but we found that attending our lessons helped us de-stress with laughter and movement. Best of all, everyone was so impressed with our wedding dance at our wedding and we were getting so many compliments on our dance moves. Many of the moves we learned were also transferable to the dance floor during our reception and every dance floor we’ve hit since the wedding. We had such a great experience with Arthur Murray Ajax that we have continued to take lessons as part of our “date nights” when time affords us to in order to keep moving and having fun as a couple. We continue to work with the wonderful teachers and love being a part of the Arthur Murray Ajax community.

  Inspired by one of my all-time favorite movies, "Shall We Dance," I joined Arthur Murray Ajax Dance Studio in June 2023, intending to learn to dance confidently and express my feelings through movement. This year has presented its fair share of personal struggles, making it all the more important to find positive experiences. Thankfully, being a part of this dance studio has been a significant highlight amidst the challenges. The coaches at Arthur Murray Ajax embody the essence of inspiration and encouragement. Not only are they highly skilled dancers, but they also create an environment where every student feels welcomed and supported. From day one, it was evident that this studio values growth over judgment, allowing everyone to learn from their mistakes and improve together. Dance sessions become a safe space to express oneself and build confidence. Beyond the exceptional coaches, the community at Arthur Murray Ajax plays a fundamental role in the studio's welcoming atmosphere. Fellow students are incredibly helpful and understanding, fostering a sense of camaraderie that encourages growth and mutual support.   After years of driving by this dance studio, I finally took the plunge and from the moment I entered, I kept wondering why I hadn't joined before. All the instructors are warm, friendly, fun and patient and make you feel part of the "family". They meet you where you are at and help you get to where you want to get. If you are on the fence about dancing, you won't regret joining. Thank you Arthur Murray Ajax's Team for reminding me how much I love to dance.

  I have been dancing at the Ajax Arthur Murray Dance Centre for almost 2 years. I never thought I would rehearse a routine, get all done up and dance in front of people!!! What a growth experience!! The studio owners and their instructors are top notch artists and teachers. They help us to believe in our potential with a combination of solid technique, love and creative inspiration!   What started out as a last-minute effort to put together and learn a wedding dance has turned into a cherished hobby for my husband and myself. Our team of instructors taught us a wedding dance routine in 2 (yes, TWO) weeks and we received so many compliments!! Anna, the studio owner, also saved me from a wedding dress fiasco right before the big day. I am so glad we took a leap of faith and joined the AMA family afterwards. Several more weeks of dance lessons was all it took to start looking like we knew what we were doing on a dance floor. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the instructors. They are such talented, kind individuals who continuously encourage us like personal cheerleaders. They are understanding if you are having a bad day and know how to pull you out of any funk (super relevant for me as a stressed out health care professional). We love them all! The studio itself is gorgeously appointed. There are students of all ages and skill levels, singles and couples alike.
