  My partner and I walked in with the goal of learning to salsa dance so they we could feel comfortable on the dance floor when we travel down south. In the 3 or 4 years we've been dancing at Artistica, we have tried a bunch of different types of dance, presented multiple showcase dances with different choreography and even competed in a local competition! The amazing team at Artistica (Kelly, Anastasia & Patrick) supports us through our learning and encourages us to try new things. Going to dance is my favourite part of any week - be it our private lessons, group classes or the Friday Dance Party. Joining the Artistica Dance Fam was one of the best decision that we've made!

  Absolutely Amazing! Warm and wonderful instructors who care about you and your own dancing journey. Fantastic teachers who build upon your skill level (no matter what level that might be!). You never have to feel self-conscious or inadequate. They are so welcoming and accepting of everyone who comes through their doors! You pay for private lessons, but included in that price are SO many opportunities to practice and further develop your dancing. My husband and I have tried all sorts of dance lessons over at least a decade with minimal to moderate success. Artistica's format is by far the most effective. The dance community they have created and continue to foster each and every day is phenomenal !!!! Enough said. You've got to try this Studio out. You will not be disappointed!

  Have you heard the saying "Dance enables you to find and lose yourself at the same time". That is precisely what happen at Artistica. Instructors teach not only technique but also styling, enabling you to express your unique personality on the dance floor. This combination of skill and self-expression fosters a liberating passion, true for both my instructor Patrick and the entire team. With them there is no wrong step but a better way to do it. Group classes introduce you to various rhythms, provide social opportunities, and allow you to dance while enjoying drinks and snacks. Once you start dancing, you won't want to stop thanks to everyone's caring attitude, charisma and of course Anastasia's infectious laugh. Instructors are truly exceptional. Count me in for the next season!

  Coming from a sports background, but having two left feet when it comes to anything dance related, my fiancé and I gave Artistica a whirl in order to try to nail our first dance at our wedding. After an initial consultation with Jess, we did the intro package (3 lessons) and the wedding package (5 lessons) with Sarah, and we ultimately came out of it with a fully choreographed wedding dance. I would never have thought this be possible for someone of my complete ineptitude when we first started, but Sarah was a fast and effective teacher. We also attended a few group classes, and one of the Friday night dance parties. At no point during this process did I feel pressured by Artistica to purchase more lessons. The goal during our sessions was simply to dance. Initially I didn't think I would take any more lessons beyond the wedding package, simply because I never believed I would actually enjoy dance. However now I believe I might be sick with the dance bug... But it's hard not to be with how infectious the atmosphere is. Between the extremely competent owners and staff, and the overwhelmingly supportive other patrons at Artistica, there's really a good thing going on here. I genuinely look forward to the group dance classes, the stretch and strengthen class, and the dance parties with this great group. The four instructors at the date of this posting (Patrick, Anastasia, Kelly, and Sarah) are all really exceptional people in more ways than just dance. I find them all to be very kind, patient, and just plain uplifting to be around. They strike a great balance between professionalism and fun/enjoyment.

  I have been a student at Artistica for about a year and a half now and have no intention of ever stopping. Originally my husband and I went in for our wedding dance. Our instructor Sarah listened to what we wanted, our song, the vibe, our nervousness, and our abilities. With this information she helped us create a beautiful wedding dance that we were proud to perform for our friends and family. While completing our beginner and wedding packages we learned how great a community the instructors, owners, and students have created here. With zero pressure from anyone, we gladly purchased a private lesson package and have been dancing ever since. My husband and I take advantage of group classes throughout the week that expose us to different styles and techniques as well as the class and party on Fridays that allow us to practice different styles and socialize with our new-found dance family. I cannot recommend Artistica enough; regardless of prior experience or access to a partner. If you are new to dance and looking for something both mentally and physically engaging, join the fun! Alternatively, if you want to grow your skill set, join the competition dance floor, and do so with lovely people supporting you along the way; Artistica will be that challenge and support. Patrick, Anastasia, Kelly, and Sarah you are amazing, thank you for creating such an amazing place to learn a new craft and welcoming us to your dance family.
