  Our family has been on Bambini’s waitlist for over two years and still has not been able to secure spots for both of our children. When we first inquired, the administration told us that if we paid a $400 non-refundable “waitlist” fee, we would be offered placement within a year. Trusting their word, we paid — only to learn over time that this promise holds little weight. I have been in contact back and forth with Laura for many months with no movement whatsoever! Instead of filling spots from the waitlist in order, Bambini appears to prioritize transferring children from their Granville location into the Hamptons location before considering families who have been waiting (and paying) for years. This practice leaves many parents, like us, feeling misled and unfairly treated. The biggest concern is transparency — or rather, the lack of it. The waitlist process is not clearly communicated, and families are left in the dark about realistic timelines. If the wait is going to be well over two years, that information should be stated upfront before taking a non-refundable payment. The current approach comes across as taking advantage of parents’ urgency to secure childcare, with little accountability once the fee is collected. While the daycare facilities themselves may be visually impressive and highly rated for their programs, the administration and management practices tell a different story. A great-looking space means little if the process to access it is riddled with broken promises and unclear policies. We have since spoken to several other families who are in the same situation — all of whom paid the same $400 deposit with the understanding that they would be offered a spot within a year. They, too, are still waiting. This is not just an isolated experience; it’s a pattern. Bambini, you can and should do better. With two fully operational daycare locations, there should be no need to take non-refundable deposits for a waitlist that stretches beyond two years. At that point, it is not a “waitlist” at all — it is a paid queue with no guaranteed movement. This practice does not reflect the trust and integrity that families expect when choosing care for their children. Until the process becomes transparent, fair, and accountable, I cannot recommend Bambini to any parent looking for reliable childcare placement.

  We chose Bambini because immediately when touring the space it felt different than other daycares. The staff are all great and you can tell they really care about the wellbeing of the kids. My son started daycare a bit later (after turning 2) and it was a very difficult transition for him and for us. His teachers played a huge role in making him feel comfortable and reassuring us that it just takes time. My son loves all the different activities now especially in the summer when they have nature walks and water play days. We feel at ease dropping him off and appreciate checking in with the teachers when we pick him up. My husband and I also appreciate all the extra events Bambini provides such as seminars for the parents, family activities (summer carnival, baking together). We are very happy with this daycare.

  We had heard of people loving their daycare and though it took us a couple tries to find that kind of match, we found it with Bambini. Both our kids look forward to going. Our youngest started at 12 months and we felt happy and at ease with how well she was taken care of in the infant room. She adores all her teachers, and all of the staff have been excellent at communicating with us. I have recommended Bambini to all of our parent friends in the neighbourhood, and feel very lucky that our kids go there.

  As a first time mom I was so hesitant to send my son to daycare. Hampton’s bambini has been amazing, he so clearly loves it there. He’s happy to see his teachers every day, and they are so friendly and welcoming to him. We love that he gets to go outside everyday and that they send photos and updates. Such a positive experience there in our first couple months so far.
