Our child attended Bright Tikes Preschool and although the space is beautiful, as a long time educator, I would definitely NOT recommend it to other families. As mentioned in other comments, communication is not a strong point of this day care. Our family had great concerns with the disparity between the day care’s alleged discipline policies and the reality of how they deal with incidents. Our young child was given a time-out on the premises and told to think about what they did. This goes against Bright Tikes’ written policies along with our family beliefs, and we were only made aware of the incident through our child’s disclosure. We also had multiple concerns with the friendliness of the some of the staff, sometimes they would not even greet our child upon arrival or would do so with a sweatshirt hood up…There were also multiple witnessed discussions and name calling of other “difficult” children heard at pick-up and drop off.

Trusting my son’s education to Bright Tikes was the best investment I’ve ever made made as a parent. My son was extremely shy due to his limited social interactions during the pandemic, and he flourished in just over a year after starting day care. The initial support he received while still attending the Blue Room was amazing. Now he is in the Yellow Room, and he loves the occasional visits to the Orange Room as well. Ms Suki and all the amazing teachers he interacted with during this time (big shoutout to Ms Emilie, Ms Kyla, Ms Taiyah, Ms Darya, and Ms Chantel) went above and beyond to understand his needs and make him feel supported. He is always excited every morning to see his teachers and friends, and he loves to tell us stories of what happened during the day. This daycare has a great teacher to student ratio, it’s well maintained, and offers great learning activities throughout the year. My wife and I love the app notifications/pictures, and the quick messages when we need to be aware of something important. When my son is sick and cannot go to Bright Tikes, he grabs a picture of his teachers and friends to keep close to him. It tells how much he loves this place.

Daycare can be a hard transition for kids. Our son only attended a short time as we moved away but after after seeing other daycares now I wanted to leave a review that shines light on the young energetic staff at Bright Tikes of which our son still talks about today. They did such a great job of nurturing our boys need for personal interaction and making him feel special and welcome during a difficult transition from home to daycare at two years old. Our boy loves to talk and the staff here would speak and interact with him like a person and teach him new things that we would discover after we picked him up. Also the owner is always present in the center working with the children which is very comforting. The summer time field trips were so much fun and the online messaging system is great for quick questions and concerns, we always had very quick responses. Great location and very clean and organized. Thanks again Bright Tikes for leaving a great first impression of daycare on our son!

Bright Tikes has been incredibly gracious and accommodating between both my hectic work schedule as a business owner and the transition of my daughter into their amazing childcare program. I was very impressed with their low staff to child ratio and I can already tell that Winnie’s days are filled with enriching activities.

Our 2 daughters left this Daycare 7months ago because we moved to another Province and I promised to give a review but forgot to. My first daughter that stayed there longer keeps talking about her former "school" in Winnipeg and how much she misses her teachers and friends in the Orange room. What I liked the most was how intentional the Daycare was in making the kids learn something new everyday. Secondly, the environment and area in general was nice and pristine and you would be happy to drop your kids without worrying about their safety. I also appreciate the flexibility of the Director to provide options when we considered enrolling our second daughter. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend them as long as they keep up with the standard we left.
