We came to this location from Stoney creek instead of the Hamilton one because we wanted the experience of the in store workshop for my daughter’s birthday since Hamilton is just a kiosk. What a monumental let down. My daughter turned 6, go get her the birthday bear every year with a recording and out fit. The guy working was so disengaged, could care less that a child was there let alone celebrating their birthday. We had to ask for the birthday hat, there was nothing special about this experience I cannot believe it. Your job is to provide joy, engagement and special moments for children…. You sell stuffed bears! I’m just in total shock how no one cared, no one celebrated a young girls birthday. I really hope you re-evaluate the type of folks you put into these roles in your locations. The only thing we loved was the options for clothing and the photo opp with the giant bear.

Took my daughter in to make 2 bears , wasn’t a super busy day we were 3 of maybe 8 people in the store . We picked our bears waited in line and when we were to be next an employee (older with glasses ) told us we needed to go to the back of the line . I explained we already waited in the line and were next. The employee stated we stand were she says ! Our experience wasn’t vary great, unfortunately will be finding a new location for our next build

May 2025 2024 Visited the store with my kids and they love it. It is nice experience as they can pick their own teddy, accessories and clothes. You can discount on one teddy bear - pay full price or pay by age if it is your birthday months. Rest all will cost you in the range of $25-$40. However there will be top pop up: - Heart beat $7 - Perfume $5 - Record your voice $11 - Clothes $24-30 We paid $130 for two bears. So it is quite some of money. The shop is located within Square one mall. Staff is helpful.

Took my son to celebrate his 3rd birthday. He was so excited but unfortunately it was not a memorable experience by any means. An older lady with glasses helped us, and my helped, rudely told us to pick clothes. When we went to fill the bear, she spoke to me, not my son. Even when she asked about the firmness, she handed me the bear, not my son who the bear was for. She seemed so unenthusiastic about her job, and was rude. The best part is, when you use the certificate maker, it advertises birthday parties. I certainly hope this lady is not hosting the birthday parties. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but it was not an enjoyable nor memorable experience and my son asked multiple times if we could ‘go now’.

The experience is not magical for kids anymore, the staff just talks to the parents and there’s is no “magic” for the kids like before… I have the same opinion about the staff like the comments below. Maybe now I’ll have to drive all the way to Vaughan and avoid the Mississauga location for a while. Staff could do much better, it’s a kids store, if I’m bringing my kid inside I know I’ll be spending so stop focusing in selling me all the add ons and focus on the kids experience!
