I love this place. I always take medium roast whole bean (my favourite, hot or cold it is always perfect) and the holiday special when Christmas seasons sometimes but today there was a new one from Uganda. And this Uganda bean is amazing!! Full of flavour and rich taste (soft creamy chocolate) and acidity is really really well balanced. I don’t know how to explain, just get and try the bean!! this shop is always, definitely my best place ever. Im gonna try the decaf after I finish the Uganda bean. I love this place. Thank you!!!!Always👍

I recently visited “Carvalho Coffee Roasters” to purchase coffee beans for a charity coffee salon hosted by “Mindful Peace”, a nonprofit organization. Wayne, who assisted me, was not only incredibly kind and passionate but also deeply generous. When he learned about our cause, he generously donated two bags of freshly roasted beans to support our event! The coffee was a “huge hit” at the salon prepare meeting —everyone loved its “well-balanced flavor and smooth profile”. It was the perfect companion for meaningful conversations. Beyond the outstanding quality, what truly touched me was Wayne’s warmth and goodwill. His generosity added so much value to our gathering, and I hope to share both his coffee and his spirit of kindness with more people. Thank you, Carvalho Coffee Roasters (and especially Wayne!), for your amazing coffee and big heart. You’ve gained a loyal supporter, and I’ll definitely be back!

I never leave reviews, but this was the most wonderful coffee experience of my life. Wayne was the most knowledgeable man I have ever talked to, and made my entire trip to Canada. We came in expecting to just grab some coffees, but instead learned about the roasting process, tasted some of the most delicious peaberry pourover I have ever had, and learned how to dial in an espresso grind specifically for the coffee we were sold. I was blown away by the depth of knowledge and amazing service offered, and would recommend Carvalho to anyone. Thank you Wayne.

My family support local businesses as much as we can and that's why I was here for my coffee roast rather than buying from a big box store where your coffee beans probably roasted 6+ months ago if not longer, in other words, stale already. It was a pleasant visit to this location, and please follow google maps to get there as you may not see any store signs from the road, it is located inside the plaza with plenty parking spaces. A very clean and tidy location, and you may be able to try the flavor or boldness of different beans you're after. They are also suppliers for local restaurants and cafeterias. The coffee roaster behind the counter was very nice, and also a skilled professional who transforms raw green coffee beans into the flavorful, aromatic beans that you like by managing time, temperature, and I guess, the airflow to develop specific taste profiles. In my view, they are the master of the art and science of balancing bean characteristics with desired boldness and flavors. I picked up a bag of espresso blend, and as it was roasted the very same day, I was advised to wait a couple of days before brewing the golden brew. Can't wait. The proprietor, Wayne, is a true master of his craft; he has worked closely with me over the years to refine a custom roast that hits my perfect flavour profile every time. I love that this is a local business with deep roots. Their beans come directly from a historic family farm in Brazil, and the quality is consistently world-class.
