I am taking the Impressionist class that includes cubism, abstract and pop art but i am shocked that we are not learning/painting in abstract, cubism. The class majority is choosing pop art which i have no interest in. They intend to do this for the rest of the class time left. I missed Monday’s class. I paid for a class that offered 4 styles and am very dissapointed that the class is not as described. Classes are expensive for a senior and should be as advertised.

Cedar Ridge Creative Centre is nestled within beautiful gardens enjoyed by the public and available for weddings and special events. Quiet and serene area and a place where you can enroll in art classes. I sometimes see that they will have an art show there also. Parking on site and the area is clean and maintained well.

Great place to host a small, intimate event. Hosted an event here for about 70 people and it was the perfect size. Feels a little but stuffy (hot), small, and floors are creaky at places, but it's a beautiful, intimate location with lots of green space outside and plenty of parking space! A bit hard to get to without car.

A hub for creativity - a fun happy place. A variety of art classes and workshops including pottery and sculpture . They have a seperate studio for clay classes and workshops. They have adult and children programs . I have been going there on and off for over 15 years. Check them out the admin staff are great and helpful. Definitely great value for money. Runs as part of City of Toronto Parks and Rec programming.

Such a hidden gem in Scarborough ! Quite accessible and nicely maintained! Many programs available for the community!
