The older one entered IK last year, and the younger one entered JK in September this year. The manager and every teacher here are very professional and patient, and they treat the children with love.   Today is our preschooler's last day at Cheer Daycare Center. I still remember the first day I sent him into the toddler class at 18 momths. He was a small kid who was still building his leg muscles and cried profusely the first few weeks during drop offs. But for some reason I find him happily playing at every pickup with a great big smile. I'm so glad I brought my son to this daycare. Because it is located in the basement of a church they have a lot of space for the classrooms and storage for a huge variety of toys. They even have their own kitchen, access to the church gym, courtyard and an outdoor playground. The entrance to the daycare is a gated area and even before the pandemic the daycare already have sanitizers around the facility and every morning we saw the teachers cleaning the playground and toys inside the building. So when they told us they can reopen in late June 2020 I had no doubt of the cleanliness and safety for my child during the pandemic. Since the lockdown they implemented PPEs for the teachers, markings of the 6ft social distance on the floors, designated play areas, dividers at tables and even taught the kids to wear a face mask or a face shield when they aren't able to social distance. I am so glad I was able to send my son back since they reopened as he was able to learn and adjust to this new pandemic life. He is definitely better equipped to go into junior kindergarten. I am definitely sending my 2nd child to this daycare! Hopefully by then they can resume some of the extra activities such as drumming lessons, visit from a Disney character, visit from the fire fighters, and the annual Christmas concert just to name a few! Thank you to all the wonderful caring teachers who made the last 2.5 years such a memorable experience for our entire family! I highly recommend this daycare that is located close to the border of Scarborough and Markham!

  What a wonderful 2 years for my children. Both my kids - now 5 and 3 years old and having my youngest transition to JK this September, we are extremely sad that our journey is coming to an end at this daycare. Ms Petty and her team are amazing, tentative and each teacher knows the specific personality of each child. I am truly sad as my children grow up. I would recommend this day care to anyone!! Thank you to Ms Petty and all her staff!

  What an amazing daycare. The staff have been nothing short of spectacular. My child has grown and learnt so much being at this facility. I'm so glad the staff was part of his journey these past 2 years, but sad that this part of his chapter is ending. If you're looking into a caring and nurturing daycare, you will find it here at Cheer daycare. Thank you again to all the staff, we only hope we will someday cross paths again. Our son will forever be grateful for his time here.
