Absolutely wonderful place to buy sweet condiments. Seller is super friendly and their chocolates are truly work of art at reasonable prices compare to what they sell in Toronto. Always loved to support local businesses like this. Chef is a George Brown alumnus like me so it tugs my heart knowing I'm helping her business.

This is the most delicious and fresh ice cream you will ever taste. Small batch and made at their shop with fresh ingredients. The owner and staff are very friendly. We tried some of the chocolate samples and they were incredible!

Ordered the Advent and am disappointed so far. We had high hopes with a 4.7 rating. The designs are stunning, but the taste and advent box are not great. We also bought chocolat de kat this weekend at the One of a Kind show, wanting to try the city's other luxury chocolates. There is no comparison. The kat chocolate tastes fresh, and each piece is astounding and worth the price. The chocolates cost the same at both places. The Advent box is just ugly and in numerical order. It looks really cheap, and this immediately ruins the experience. A lot of the enjoyment of luxury items comes from the presentation. The box looks like a Dollar Store Box. It's not even shiny. The first chocolate was the 70% Maldon Sea Salt. It was okay. The second was the strawberry caramel. This one was granular, and there was no caramel, just a runny granular strawberry center. #3 Pistachio Praline: mostly tasteless, no distinct flavour, tastes like chocolate sprinkles that go on cakes.

Love coming here for my chocolate covered sponge toffee! I’ve had many of the bonbons in the past and have LOVED every flavour. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as are all the staff. You can tell that care goes into everything they do! Highly recommend for some high quality treats.

My family and I have been very happy customers of Cocoa 40 from the beginning. We absolutely love the variety of delicious chocolate creations chef keeps coming up with. From meaningful gifts like the personalized chocolate bonbons, to simple hostess gifts, there is something at the shop for everyone. To top it all off, the gelato is out of this world. I’ve had the gelato cake on more than one occasion and they are always excellent. I’m so impressed with the creativity chef demonstrates in constantly creating new flavours, both with the gelato and the chocolates. I would highly recommend Cocoa 40 to anyone with a sweet tooth, or knows someone who loves chocolate as much as I do!
