I highly recommend Creative Minds Early Learning Center. The educators' ability to speak Mandarin has been invaluable for my daughter, who doesn't speak English. They are exceptionally friendly, patient, and professional, making her transition into daycare smooth. Daily feedback keeps me informed, and I appreciate the supportive environment they've created. The daily outdoor activities, including forest exploration, at Creative Minds Early Learning Center provide a fantastic environment for children. Engaging in nature not only enhances their physical well-being but also fosters curiosity and a love for the outdoors. It's a wonderful aspect of the center's approach to child development.

I had the privilege of being mentored by Dr. Kate for four months as I pursued my journey as an Early Childhood Educator in British Columbia. Her guidance, patience, and passion for teaching were truly inspiring. She provided valuable insights, practical advice, and unwavering support, helping me build confidence and refine my skills in the classroom. Dr. Kate’s dedication to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment made a lasting impact on my development. I highly recommend Creative Minds Early Learning in British Columbia for both daycare students and aspiring educators looking for quality mentorship, a supportive learning environment, and expert guidance in early childhood education. We learn to add lessons learnt to those that follow behind us. — Grace Shonhiwa

I have the utmost respect for Creative Minds since then, and the entire faculty is professional, caring and they are accommodating. Kate McCabe as a leader is very supportive of her staff, it is rare for such a manager helping her staff become more efficient and professional when it comes to Childhood Education. I like her approach to Creative Minds with a positive response from others I know as well. Creative Minds prepares children for their kindergarten and we happily recommend it to every family for their children's early education.

We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter has had the privilege of attending CM for the past two years. It is a centre like none other.. the children get to spend so much time in the forest, which i think is one of the reasons she hasn't gotten sick since she started here (on top of it being extremely clean, organized and tidy inside) . There are always practicum students, which means the staff to children ratio is better than most other spots, and they get to go on lots of fun and interesting field trips. But most importantly.. the staff are incredibly kind, patient, gentle, caring and fun. If your child enjoys time outside and getting curious, this is a wonderful place to be.

As both a mom of two and an educator, I am very mindful of what a daycare can offer to children. For CM, what really stood out to me was how much Kate McCabe truly care about the children. The way she build relationships and support them as individuals is so inspiring. I also absolutely loved how much focus Kate put on reading. The classroom felt like a library, and the variety of books available was incredible! In addition, the teachers communicate with the children in soft voices, which truly helps regulate their emotions and prevents them from becoming easily upset. It also helps manage the classroom more effectively, keeping it calm and organized. Moreover, children can explore and learn in nature every day. That’s amazing. I highly recommend CM!
