  My wife and I have enrolled our 15 month old child at Curious Caterpillars daycare. Our son spent only 17 days there and had three incidents in which he got hurt. We are lucky injuries are minor but they easily could have been much worse. He had the washroom door closed on his thumb. Luckily only his nail is bruised, but it could have been much worse. He was left unsupervised and allowed to go down concrete steps and fell on his head hitting the stone pavement. He was left with three bruises, on his forehead, eye, and under his nose, while also getting a big bump on his head. That day he was behaving a little bit off and our doctor suspects he may have had a minor concussion. He has three scars on his face from this incident. Once again, he was not attended to properly, especially after the first two incidents. Teacher grabbed him by the hand to redirect him, and without ensuring that he is stable let go of his hand. Our son lost his balance and fell. He hit the corner of the bench under his left eye, millimeters away from his eyeball. It was swollen and bruised. We decided to pull him out of the daycare for safety reasons as it is portraying obvious patterns of negligence. Once we spoke to the supervisor, she tried explaining that all these accidents are not their responsibility as he is wobbly when he walks. This is a 15 month old child. The supervisor did not once apologize, assure us that they will take better care of him - instead acted like it will happen again - nor did she show any concern for our child's well being. On top of that, one of the teachers was telling us that he needs to eat on his own since a younger child is joining the class and she cannot feed two children at once. This led us to believe they would leave our child without food if he did not eat on his own. Again, a 15 month old. Also, when we requested our 2 months deposit back we were denied. In total, 17 days of daycare, three major incidents that could have been devastating, cost us $4,000.00. This is unacceptable.

  The teachers and staff at Curious Caterpillars are beyond wonderful. They are supportive, caring, gentle, communicative, and fun. Our daughter loved going to "school" here, and now that we've moved to another city, she asks about going back almost every day. Thank you to the ladies at this wonderful centre for giving our family such a great first experience with daycare - we miss you already!

  My son has been in the infant room for the past 6 months. It’s a really great daycare, very knowledgeable and kind teachers with good communication to parents. My baby is happy everyday, there are lots of activities, outdoor time, nice sleeping area, and everything a child needs and more. I definitely would recommend this daycare to any families in the area.

  I would give this daycare 10 stars if I could. We have experienced both Infant and Toddler rooms and our experience was incredible! The facility is beautiful, very clean with a big, quiet and lush back yard. All the teachers and staff are very friendly, caring, knowledgeable and they genuinely love what they do. They go out of their way coming up with very interesting activities and are full of out of the box ideas, always going the extra mile for the kids. Our little one had a fantastic time there, she learned a lot, and was looking forward to go every day:) Starting daycare can be a stressful experience for new parents, but Curious Caterpillars made it as smooth as it could be. They respected and adjusted to our little ones needs and schedule and they gradually transitioned her to the daycare routine. Excellent daycare, highly recommended!

  My son went to this daycare from Mar 2022 to Aug 2024, and it was such a positive experience for him, and for us. The teachers were great - warm, attentive, caring and focused. I can confidently say that my son was well-prepared for JK. They provide a wide variety of activities, including weekly yoga. Not to mention their catered lunches are excellent. It's truly a special place, and I would highly recommend it.
