MySmile Dentistry had been a safe trusted haven for my young family's dental health. Also, Derek makes dental cleaning more relaxing than getting my nails, done! Highly recommended.

The reason for this poor review is not because the dentistry practice at this location is poor but rather that the administrative services are horrendous. My mother was recommended two Mississauga periodontal surgeons. She was told the two of them would discuss a plan on how best to remove and change her upper implants. The administration at Dr. Young's office was told not to disclose any information to any family member of my mother's (which is fine and legal). However, one of the staff, whilst I was there, for my own check-up, disclosed everything to me. Even if she knew my mother was related to me, she still should not have done that. Another staff member left a detailed message at my home detailing what was to be done to my mother's teeth. Again, this staff member should have left a voice message asking my mother to call back - nothing more no thing less. You must NEVER leave detailed information on a voice message machine because you never know who could be listening. My mother went in twice to see Dr. Young and both times, they were consultations because the STAFF forgot to update their computer system that my mother had already done one consultation. A third staff member booked her again to start treatment with Dr. Young except this time, Dr. Young was not made aware that an appointment was even made. The staff are absolutely STUPID. Why Dr. Young does not sit down with his staff and go over proper etiquette is beyond me. He does not seem like the type to discipline people. Finally, I had a check-up cancelled and yet they still called me in to after I told them I would be returning to my Toronto dentist. Then there was another time, I had no appointment at all but was called to come in. I have never seen a dentistry practice where the front desk staff do not communication with one another, constantly change staff members (so no one knows what is going on) and FAIL to update customer appointments in their computer system. Every time you call, it's always: "would you like a consultation?". Instead of looking up the patient information in the computer and seeing WHERE the patient is at, they assume every call is a consultation call. When I sent an email stating to Dr. Young, to NOT make an appointment UNLESS he is absolutely ready for one and has been advised of it, then do not waste my mother's time. Foolishly, Dr. Young then interpreted this email as stating my mother did not want to go to his practice at all and then accused me of stating that I thought he was a poor dentist (which I never stated). Had his dumb staff only booked ONE consultation, and discussed ONLY with my mother what was to be done and advised Dr. Young of when the follow up appointments would be, none of this would have happened. Instead, Dr. Young harasses my family by sending not one but TWO letters to my home inquiring about the email - which only said: "in the future, I would like it if the staff would only make appointments for my mother when Dr. Young has been advised of said appointments". My mother wasted time going there a total of 3 times for no reason and one time when Dr. Young wasn't even aware she was to suppose to show up. I will be reporting his horrendous front desk staff to Ontario's Dentistry Head Office. Absolutely disgusting behavior! Furthermore, all Dr. Young had to do to resolve this was schedule an appointment, over the phone, clarifying everything with myself and my mother. Instead, he TOLD his staff about the email, CHANGED the interpretation of the email, and one of the front desk women was RUDE to me when I dropped my mother off for her appointment and said: "it's none of your business what she's in here for". Either hire new staff, Dr. Young or RE-TRAIN THEM!!! Another dentistry has said the same thing about your practice, that your front desk staff are the worst women on the planet!!!!

The cleaning was very thorough and painless! And Liana is very informative

Liana has been my dental hygienist for many years. She is always thorough and very professional. I would highly recommend her. Her office is very conveniently located near Square One with lots of parking. The office is bright and lively. Margaret at the front desk will make sure you well attended to.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. The staff were consistently unprofessional, and communication with patients was almost nonexistent. Dr. Baig appeared more focused on financial matters than patient care. Despite multiple requests, the receptionist never provided my appointment details or follow‑up information. The lack of privacy in the office was also concerning. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.
