Discovery Montessori School is such a near and dear place to me. My kids have been going there since 2014. Here are a few facts for you to consider, should you look for a trusted child care/education facility: 1. The facility is right on the Thompson elementary school premises, and is part of the school building. Kids can walk to the facility within the school building, after their daily school day ends. This gives parents a peace of mind about kids’ safety 2. The facility offers a variety of child care/education programs that range in age, duration and leaning contents. Some examples of knowledge and skills that kids can learn include: language, math, music/piano, art/handcraft, social interaction, cooking, and more… 3. Kids have readily access to the school playground and field 4. Kids can get familiar with the school building and grounds. This familiarity with the school environment can mentally prepare them for kindergarten, should they choose to enroll in the Thompson elementary school when they turn five. I would highly recommend this facility to parents. Wish you well.

My son has been going to Discovery Montessori School since September 2018 . The school is located in a friendly neighborhood (part of Thompson elementary). In summer, they offer different activities and curriculum and my son enjoys it a lot. During Covid-19, it wasn’t easy for everyone but the school has a good protocol and managed to keep everyone safe and clean. Teachers and staffs are super friendly and responsible. They always keep you posted on your kid’s status and activities they did in class. Thanks all the teachers and staffs, all of you are amazing! I think my son is hard to deal with but all of you did a good job. He picked up a lot of good behaviors since then.

I appreciate efforts of all teachers. They made my daughter independent. She learned so many things which even kindergarden kids don't know. I like their daily routines and playground

Our two children attended Discovery Montessori. During their time at Discovery, they both loved the school and the teachers. The teachers fostered an environment that helped our children develop into confident and independent learners. Our children also acquired life skills and good manners. They graduated from this school ready for kindergarten. When you met the teachers, you can feel their care and warmth that is necessary for preschool children. We highly recommend Discovery Montessori.

I highly recommend this school! The teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the learning environment is very positive. My child has learned so much, like the names of all the provinces in Canada, and always looks forward to going to school every day. We are very happy with our experience here.
