Highly recommended Laband as a music teacher. He is friendly, patient and knowledgable. I am glad that I found him as my son’s piano teacher. My son had been learning piano for over a year, he still enjoy and like to go to class every week. Teacher done a great job on showing music to student in an interesting way, and not just practicing songs. He also taught him fundamental concepts of music theory such as rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo. Because of that my son has a better understanding of music.

I can’t say enough about Laband and his passion for music and instruction. A five star review honestly doesn’t do him justice. He connects with my 10 year old son and 11 year old daughter in a way that motivates them to learn and develop in their journey to piano proficiency. Both have made significant advancements in their comprehension of musical skill, knowledge and reading since we were lucky enough to have Laband take both on as students. Without exaggeration, both of my kids have advanced in their musical understanding and performance more in a few months with Laband than they ever did in years at an instructional studio. My kids were fortunate enough to participate in his fall 2025 recital where the fruits of Laband’s labour were on display. I was nothing short of impressed by the caliber of talent that performed for the large audience, playing a variety of stringed and percussive instruments. The venue was VERY organized and opened with students playing the violin, guitar, piano and drums in a collaboration on a single song. Truly an amazing and entertaining event!

Laband is the most versatile music teacher I’ve ever met, he can literally play any musical instruments, piano, violin, guitar, drum…. you name it, I really marvel at how great gifts God has given him! I’m very grateful that my girl can have such a great teacher who not only has solid and vast knowledge of music, but has a loving and caring heart towards his students. My girl is kinda introverted and always reluctant to talk in public especially with adults, but surprisingly she’s willing to show her true self in front of Laband, who makes every lesson a pleasant and fun journey for her.
