Dr Pachler needs to reign in his mean entitled wife who undermines his business. She deleted our file when my Father died, just ruthless, will not email my prescription. Thousands of dollars spent. No empathy. Pachler is too nice a man & unfortunately she rules & treats staff & HIS clients like dirt.

Not knowledgable at all, bordering on negligence and incompetence. I had at the time, moderate glaucoma undiagnosed, and had went to Robert Pachler for visual acuity to get glasses at the time. He did the OCT and read it, and then told me that I need to lose weight, eat more vegetables, and exercise more based on what he saw on the OCT. He did not refer me to an ophthalmologist for my obvious cupping of the optic nerve, and therefore it was another two years before I went to see another optometrist for a new prescription for my glasses and then I was referred to an ophthalmologist at that time. He had wasted two years time in between his appointment and the optometrist who eventually referred me to see an ophthalmologist and allowed my glaucoma to progress without treatment. Beware!

I have been going to Oak Park Optometrist, located in the plaza on the corner of 6th Line and River Glen Blvd, for many years. They have made sure that my vision was always at peak performance, including the process of guiding me through my cataract diagnosis, surgery, and follow up. Dr. Pachler and his staff are a wonderful group of people who excell in providing friendly, courteous, and professional service. The office is equipped with a host of modern equipment that makes their work fast and efficient. Dr. Pachler is a highly-qualified Optometrist who provides a number of different eye tests along with detailed discussion on the procedures, analysis and diagnoses of the resulting tests. I highly recommend this Optometrist Office for any one who wants to make sure that they get the best available eye care.
