Eglinton Park is a great outdoor spot for families to enjoy some fresh air and play, offering a nice green space for kids to run around.

What to expect

This large urban park provides ample space for children to play and explore. While it's an outdoor facility, it's a wonderful place for families to spend time together enjoying nature and recreational activities. It's best suited for sunny days when you can make the most of the open areas.

Best for

Perfect for a casual afternoon of outdoor fun and letting kids burn off energy in a natural setting.

The park is great for children 2 years and above. The park is very clean, the playground is well maintained and includes a play area for toddlers and children. I love their strict non smoking policy. Its a nice tobaganing spot during snowtime and your kids can have a nice refuge from sumner heat at the fountain

This park is the largest green space not directly connected to a ravine. It has a few sports venues and has a the community center located within. The Eglinton entrance has been affected by the construction of the new LRT line. I was hopping to see some improvements to that side now that the construction has finished in the vicinity. Nevertheless it remains a popular spot for residents. It has some facility for kids as well.

It’s a very lovely park in the neighborhood. There’s some construction in the front but this park is just like oasis here. It’s a very spot for hanging out with family. A lot of kids play soccer there. Every time when I go visit the park I always feel like so calm and peaceful. Good spot!!!

The park has an incredible layout for family, children and friends. It is accessible via the Eglinton subway and some bus lines. As soon as you arrive, you will see the entrance to the covered recreation center, where there is a heated pool and indoor activities. Now in summer, the park has outdoor pool activities open until the penultimate week of September. The structure is very cool and caters to all audiences (children, seniors, adults) The green area of the park is huge, with space for barbecues, picnics, an area for dogs (including a water fountain for pets) and an area with a baseball court. The playground has many new toys for children and sand pits, in addition to splash pads. The only problem with the playground is that in the heat there is no covered area for children and the toys become extremely hot.

A great park in a busy city next to a busy street. Good for dog walks and also to have a picnic time. There is also a kids playground and slides.
