  This daycare is a gem. My daughter has gone here for a year. Staff is friendly knowledgeable loving and caring. Incredibly nutritious and good quality food. Owner is amazing friendly and accommodating. Backyard is huge for the kids to play.

  All three of my children have attended The Elephant Room at the Harwood, Ajax location. I have nothing but good things to say. The kids really enjoy their day to day activities, they come home with the most beautiful art and the staff have all been really pleasant and incredibly supportive. I also find them very professional and efficient. I'm constantly received emails keeping me up to date with any changes or reminders. Furthermore I find the owners Carmine and Jamie very warm and authentic. So grateful to have found a daycare where I can trust my children are in good hands! Highly recommend!!

  My son has been attending the Elephant Room for about 2 1/2 years now, & my 8 year old has been doing the Summer Camp Program this year. I Have not had one negative issue with any staff or my sons telling me anything. They have always looked out for their best interests & my 3 year old absolutely loves his teachers hes had through the years. My oldest has had such a wicked experience going on all sorts of excursions the last few weeks. I have recommended the daycare to people & they have also loved it since their childs been attending! 10/10 would recommend 👌🏻

  Elephant Room is hands down the best daycare in all of Durham! After we had such an incredible experience sending our daughter here, we did not even bother looking for another Centre when it was time for our second-born to go to daycare. We love so many things about this place but believe that their biggest asset is their staff who are super friendly, competent and dedicated. We also love that they make their food in-house everyday and serve fresh fruits alongside. The centre is also clean and very organized. I have recommended many of my friends to check out the Elephant Room, but they always have a waitlist which right there is an indication of just how good they are!

  We are so grateful to have found this amazing daycare for our son! From day one, we felt welcomed and reassured by the caring and attentive staff. The teachers are patient, nurturing, and truly invested in the children’s growth and well-being. Our son has blossomed in this environment. Not only has he made wonderful friends, but he’s also learned so much—from basic academic skills to social development. The daycare emphasizes a balance between structured activities and free play, which has helped him develop creativity and independence. One thing we particularly appreciate is the special care for his specific health conditions, his teachers and principal Jamie are always on top of any special health care that he might need. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play. Communication with the staff is always clear, and they are great at updating us on our son’s progress and any important events. We truly couldn’t ask for a better daycare experience. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow, this is the place!
