Very educational and pleasant experience with no crowds. We're able to wander on well packed limestone pathways from one enclosure to the next. All animals were easy to spot and some were very close to fencing to allow feeding from on site pre-purchased mini bucket of feed. This close up observation is the most impressive part of the visit for children and adults alike. You walk away thinking about how beautiful the animals are in our world even though it was a small sampling of wild life.

Went over the weekend and had such a fun time! We bought the animal feed at the entrance (they give you cute little buckets), which made the experience even better. Honestly didn’t expect to see such big animals up close, the giraffes were a highlight! The whole place had a nice, family-friendly vibe. Great way to spend a day outdoors.

My family and I visited Elmvale Jungle Zoo recently, and while the place itself is not bad and we truly enjoyed seeing the animals, I couldn’t help but feel sad about their living conditions. For me, most of the animals didn’t seem happy — perhaps because many enclosures looked very small, old, and in poor condition. Some were so overgrown or filled with dry branches that you couldn’t even see the animals inside. Many enclosures felt abandoned, dull, and grey, which made it heartbreaking to look at the animals. It feels like these animals deserve more space, more enrichment, and surroundings that recreate a more natural habitat. Simple things like toys, climbing structures, and fresh landscaping could make such a difference for their well-being. The animals are beautiful and it was exciting to see them up close, but it truly broke my heart to see the conditions they live in. I hope the zoo can improve their habitats to create a more comfortable, engaging, and natural environment for them. Unfortunately, because of this, I wouldn’t want to return a second time.

It's a great little zoo where you essentially walk around in a circle and get to feed and see animals ranging from Giraffes, donkeys, monkeys and more. Great for a family outing and you'll be done under 2 hrs. You can only pay at the gate so don't Easter your time looking for an online discount.
