This is indistinguishable from scam. Dr. Nilava in the clinic recommended silver caps for both my children. This is an expensive procedure that requires sedation. The caps are supposed to be in the child's mouth for years to protect any cavities to spread from the baby teeth to the permanent teeth. The silver cap broke three times already for my 7 year old. The first time it was the same year it was installed, 2023. In 2025, it broke the way sharp metal pieces were sticking out and harming her cheek. When I called back, they told me the next appointment was in January (several months from now). Then, they told me the doctor is only there on Saturdays and they can book me in a week's time. When I asked them 'Are you telling me my child is supposed to walk around with sharp metal pieces in their month from your cap for a week?' they didn't have an answer. They didn't provide any interim solutions or any apologies. They gave me the number of an emergency clinic. They pushed an expensive procedure on us, and they refused support in an emergency situation. They behave like they don't take responsibility for their work or provide any guarantees. When their cap breaks and creates a threat of infection in the child's mouth, they behave like they're doing me a favour if they book my child in a week. I regret trusting them with the health of my children.

I've had a history of dental issues and, unfortunately, some difficult experiences with dentists in the past. Because of that, I usually feel a lot of anxiety when it comes to appointments. This time, I was having my wisdom teeth removed, which made me even more nervous. Still, the Elm Dental team made me feel completely at ease and kept my mind off the entire procedure. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Cem Sener for his wonderful care, as well as his assistants and the front desk team for making me feel so comfortable. I’ve never felt this relaxed in a situation that’s typically so stressful.

I have never felt so disrespected and condescended to by a medical professional in my life. I had to get a filling done (to address pain and too much sensitivity from old filling) and went to Elmwood since my usual dentist doesn't take CDCP. Huge mistake, I should have just paid $100s out of pocket. The dentist was late by more than 30 minutes to my appointment, and did a rushed job - when I told him the filling didn't quite feel right he suggested to just 'wait and see' if it's actually a concern. When I got home I realized that he had barely filled my molar! Every time I drank, no matter the temperature, I had intense pain since the nerves were so close to the surface. And when I ate food, literal chunks of food got stuck in there. I went back a week after to address the issue, and the same dentist refused to acknowledge that he made a mistake. He told me the sensitivity is coming from me chewing food too hard, and suggested I chew food 'lightly', talking to me like I'm a child - the way he demonstrated was just so condescending, I couldn't believe it. And he also tried to blame it on me grinding my teeth, even after I told him I wear my nightguard every night and didn't have this issue ever until now. And here I am again in pain, because the filling he put on top just... went away? Now I have to get the filling done again, but it definitely won't be at this clinic. I'm glad other people had good experiences here, but man I've wasted hours just to get disrespected and be in pain for weeks, every time I eat or drink. Unbelievable.
