Just like that the outdoor ice skating season has started... The boards are up and all we are waiting for is a string of colder weather so we can flood!! We fired up the pizza oven while the ice masters set up the boards!

Such a fun park in a great location! I take my son here weekly after our swim at the rec center. It’s huge, huge field with 2 playgrounds!

This is a super friendly park with plenty of resources to keep kids and adults busy. It has quick access with a public cycle program as well as the TTC runs on north side of the park. There are two different children’s playgrounds at the north end of the park and the other at the south end next to the tennis courts. There is a baseball field, as well as a soccer field in addition to a big tarmac with basketball nets. The new park on the north side has sand for the smaller children and some fun features with both rocks and logs. There’s a slight hill on the north side of the park park which is also fun for the kids to play on. There are water stations at the northeast and southwest corners of the park. There is also a splash pad in the southwest corner of the park and an awesome communal fire pit with seating! Finally, plenty of benches and seating throughout the entire park for everyone to be comfortable and find their spot.
