Grateful for the consistent, professional, friendly and caring staff. The patience, focus, attention to detail and care for each individual child doesn’t go unnoticed and I’m forever grateful for all they do.

This daycare does not use gentle parenting, in fact there are caregivers in the toddler room that I watched push my son’s hand away when he reached for food and the next day I saw the same caregiver smack a child’s face when he was being unruly during nap time and not settling down. The director suspended her for a day for CAS to investigate which they chose not to because “if she smacked him it would have left a mark”. They refused to notify the other parents of this incident so the boy’s mother has no idea this happened. The caregiver admitted to “tapping them on the head if they’re misbehaving” because “that’s just how she does it”. This is unacceptable and not what I witnessed. I fear to see how they handle children when no one is watching. I also blame the other caregivers in the toddler room for allowing this to happen. You are all obligated to report these incidents and you should be ashamed. My children have started daycare somewhere else and the improvement and differences are worlds apart. The infant room caregivers were good although my daughter would scream and cry all day and no one would even call me to tell me. My advice is to have an outside educator come in and retrain your staff on proper toddler care.
