Forest Friends provides a safe and welcoming environment for all kids in their care. It took us a long time to find a place for our son we were comfortable with, but our patience paid off. He is so much more confident in himself, and his social skills with other children have blossomed. If you’re looking for a smaller childcare centre where the children really get to know one another and the caregivers really care, look no further.

My grade 1 son still fondly talks about her and his experiences there - the outdoor adventures, walks, dance parties, games and art projects. The moment I walked into Nancy’s outdoor space and met with her for the first time, I was hooked! I was as excited as my then 2.5 and 4 year old boys to check out her mud kitchen. Nancy is personable, kind, energetic, creative and adventurous – a perfect fit for young minds! She allows the kids to take the lead, exploring and discussing their interests and observations and planning activities to go along with their chosen area of study. She encourages them to problem solve, use their imagination, and embrace nature through outdoor play, exploration and gardening (in all weather!) You will be hard-pressed to find a better early learning center and care provider!
