I used to LOVE getting pastries and coffee from here. It’s so convenient and has been a favourite of mine for years. But recently I can’t lie the quality isn’t adding up to how it used to be. I ordered a Kouign-amann and I love the glaze they always make it with and today…um. It looks like a version Timmie’s would come out with. The coffee has tasted watered down recently too. Just want the value of the good to match the quality. I really hope things get better.

If you don't know what cake to buy to share because everyone has different tastes, this place has FANTASTIC little cakes, and all in fun and VERY well detailed shapes and designs. Each holiday and season there are different ones so be sure to come back and see what's in. Anyhow, the fruit shapped ones are really nice. White chocolate outside shell painted to look almost real, layer of flavoured mousse, layer of real fruit compote, cake sponge for the base, and they are almost refreshing in a way to eat (give peach a try).

I went yesterday morning to pick up some desserts for my birthday. I was really looking forward to trying out this bakery since I’ve heard numerous good reviews, but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. I went right about when they opened and they were still setting up some items which is fine, but the asian lady who was at cash just had a horrible attitude. I understand it’s the morning and it can get pretty rough, trust me I work at a deli, I get it. But damn. I was planning on getting some small raspberry desserts, macarons, croissants & cake but I only got 2 of the 4 items because I felt a bit rushed and she seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. Which is whatever, I guess. There was only like 2 other people in the line but it’s alright. On to the actual desserts, the raspberry cake I got was straight up trash. Maybe I’m more accustomed to Polish & Ukrainian sweets because they’re more delicate but the raspberry flavour was so bitter and just tasted “off”? Not really sure how to put it. It was incredibly sweet though, a bit too sweet, but if you have a sweet tooth then this is the place for you. Needless to say my family and I were pretty disappointed to say the least. Will I come back? Probably not. Hopefully they can improve on service though.

We stopped in to pick up some items to go and were very impressed. We used to live in Japan, and the selection and quality here really reminded us of the Japanese bakeries we enjoyed there. We bought several different pastries and breads to try at home, and everything was excellent—fresh and well-made. They do a great job packaging "to-go" items to ensure delicate pastries don't get crushed on the way home. While we took our order to go, the shop does have a few tables available if you prefer to eat in. It is a great find for anyone looking for high-quality, authentic baking.

Came for the fruit pastries and was happy to give it a try! Light, fruity and yummy. I enjoyed the strawberry (lots of fruit in it, kind of jam like) and the mango was good but definitely not enough mango. The peach was not as good... It tasted like the canned peaches which I'm not the biggest fan of. The blackberry was good - the inside was kind of like a gelatin blackberry ball.. wishednit was fresh fruit instead! The other pastry I got was dry, not a fan unfortunately. Overall, all the cakes have a nice sponge with mousse and chocolate hard shell. A decent price and good to try with friends!
