  My son started at fueling brains in 2023 and we both love it. Everyone is so welcoming and warm, they always have a smile on their faces. The staff is attentive, responsive and genuinely interested in the children’s needs. They have helped my son so much with his speech and how to interact with other kids. They provide such a warm , safe inclusive environment where children are cared for and supported. We love that the facility is big and it provides different activities in the different rooms. Our family is happy that we are apart of fueling brains McKnight.

  As a parent to children ranging from age 3 to 18, I’ve experienced a wide range of childcare centers—and Fueling Brains McKnight was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing and concerning. From the start, the center was misrepresented. We were told it was a play-based, nurturing environment, but what we found was a rigid, overstimulating space with inadequate supervision. The staff in our daughter’s classroom appeared unqualified, visibly frustrated, and disengaged. It was clear they lacked both the training and support needed to care for young children in a developmentally appropriate and emotionally safe way. Rather than taking responsibility for their environment, the center made it seem as though our daughter was the issue. They raised concerns about speech delays and behavioral problems, which came as a surprise to us. At home, we never saw the extreme behaviors they described, and her new daycare hasn’t witnessed them either. It’s likely she was reacting to the stress of that setting and feeding off the energy of the adults around her. As for the supposed speech delay—while she was still developing her language, it quickly became clear the real barrier was the staff’s own limited English and harsh accents, which made communication difficult for a toddler learning to speak. Communication with the center was another major red flag. It took over a week to get a response to our formal withdrawal request and even longer to schedule a meeting, despite multiple follow-ups. When we finally did connect, the language barrier made conversations confusing and unprofessional. We were initially told the 30-day withdrawal policy might be waived in certain situations, but that was mishandled as well. After everything we experienced, we withdrew her immediately—for her safety and emotional well-being. The result? Night and day. I worked with her directly, and when we finally saw a speech therapist, her file was closed after just one visit—no concerns. A pediatrician also gave her a clean bill of health with no follow-up needed. Her new daycare has had nothing but glowing feedback about her mood, imagination, and development. This center created problems where there were none, failed to support our child, and then blamed her for it. I would never recommend Fueling Brains McKnight. If you’re looking for a safe, supportive, and professionally run environment where your child can thrive, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

  We are incredibly grateful for the guidance and support our daughter receives at Fueling Brains Academy. The environment is nurturing, engaging, and truly supportive of her growth and development. We would especially like to give a heartfelt shout-out to Mr. Jordan and Ms. Muneera, who made a meaningful and lasting positive impact on our daughter. Their patience, dedication, and genuine care did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate the role they play in helping her thrive.   As newcomers in Canada, 2024 has been a year filled of challenges, changes and moments of success/setbacks for the Family Radilla Sanchez. First, enrolled my youngest son (Paolo) in FBA McKnight has been one on the best decision we have made in Canada. Per instance, the holiday concert was a magical experience for Paolo and us, it required a lot of preparation and coordination, all the staff involved deserves a gold medal for the patience and hard work on this. Secondly, we appreciated all the FBA staff to made a significant difference in the development of Paolo, his teachers have been a role model for him, every day we see him so happy with the new school, he adapted and embebed FCA values, a different language and the new school so fast and agile, thank you for the tireless efforts in making FCA the place where my son thrive, teachers excel, and families like mine feel welcomed and supported. Finally, we, as parents, are impressed with the commitment of all the staff to going above and beyond in the classroom and being instrumental for the future of Paolo. ¡Thank you for being a guiding light in my child’s education journey. Your passions as Institution is truly remarkable!
