  Best daycare ever in Laval! I visited at least 7-8 daycares before and nothing is close to APP. Director, educators, owner, everyone is so kind to my child, attentive and caring. Safe environment, clean space, excellent menu and rich activities for the kids. They have everything to learn the Montessori way, even a little garden, water play, music class and more. The service is top-notch, great communication with parents. I can't ask for better this is crème de la crème.

  I wanted to take a few weeks to gather my thoughts before writing this review, as it’s important for me to provide a fair and comprehensive account of our experience. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional educators. They showed immense love and care for my son throughout his time there. He started as a poupon and formed strong friendships that made the decision to change daycares very difficult. However, significant issues arose following a change in directors in April 2023. The first signs for me were discrepancies in the menu: meals were frequently repeated with the same protein, sometimes up to three times a week, and Fridays often featured a hodgepodge of frozen leftovers, none of which matched the published menu. There were no alternative meals for kids with allergies; instead, they would only serve the carb of the day, leaving the child with no protein at all during lunch time. The daycare also replaced their full-time cook with an educator handling cooking duties in the morning and administrative staff taking over dishwashing and snack preparation, which detracted from their primary responsibilities. Many emails from parents never got answered by the administrators. Additionally, planned activities were cut without replacements; for instance, Sportball was discontinued with no substitute offered. From the beginning of the year until mid-February, no committee meetings were held, and outdoor activities were nearly non-existent until about May. Sometimes days or even weeks would pass before the kids were taken outside to play. A large group of concerned parents, including myself, filed an official complaint, but it took a considerable amount of time (months) before any changes were seen. Ultimately, several parents, myself included, chose to withdraw our children as we felt our concerns were not being adequately addressed. I share this experience to inform future parents considering this daycare. Please stay vigilant and ensure that the necessary improvements are maintained. Many parents, myself included, dedicated significant effort and time to advocating for these changes, and it is crucial that this progress is not lost. While I believe the daycare is working on implementing the requested changes, it sadly took numerous withdrawals to prompt action. Despite the administration's claims that money was not an issue, the numerous cuts reflected the complete opposite. I hope that by sharing our story, future parents can benefit from our efforts and continue to push for a high standard of care. For transparency regarding the food, we parents requested photos of the meals given every day to regain our trust and to ensure the menu was being followed and the portions made sense. I suggest future parents to ask for the same.
