  My son has been attending for some weeks now, and has on occasion asked NOT to leave quiet yet... He is entertained and excited to attend each day. He has made many new friends, and the new facility and open playground has been excellent in his learning and play. We were concerned switching him from part time to full time, but the staff are genuinely concerned and caring, and always have had a smile on their face when we drop off and pick up - and he leaves with that same positive vibe. Being recently open, there is always some small new thing that is purchased for the enjoyment of the children, or minor improvements, but this daycare already is fully performing and engaging the kids that attend.

  We feel so lucky that our son landed here when his previous daycare closed in August. The children get so much good outdoor time playing, taking walks, and going on scavenger hunts. There is a lot of encouragement of independent, creative play and not a lot of hurrying from task-to-task. One thing I really appreciate is a skillful focus on helping children to understand interpersonal skills and resolving conflicts together. My son is excited to go to school every morning and full of stories about all his adventures every night. The teachers are all patient, warm, and loving, and the children are supported to be themselves — whether they want time alone, more time with a craft or a book or a game, or time to sit and eat their snacks. We can’t say enough about how confident we are in the care given at Gateway.

  5 Stars all across the board. I cannot thank the staff at Gateway Daycare enough for the amazing care they take of my son. Most days my son asks if he can go straight to daycare instead of having to go to school first. Gateway is the only accommodating daycare in Kamloops that fit my schedule offering care until 6p.m. They are very clean, professional and most of all caring! I highly recommend

  Natalie and all the staff are incredible. They go above and beyond to make the children feel welcome and loved. My son enjoys being there and he appreciates the amount of time they get to spend playing outside. My son often talks about the mornings when Pastor Matt comes to visit and play songs for the kids. I have never felt more comfortable, knowing my child is in good care!

  My daughter attends the " Schooler Program" @ Gateway Children's Centre. We recently moved which meant changing schools and daycares. All of the staff were extremely considerate of the changes and super lovely. My daughter felt safe and right at home. They take a lot of time and thought into activities and are very accommodating to schedules and anything that is going on with our lives. They offer a kind and nurturing environment . We are glad that we found Gateway for our childcare
