5/5 as a toddler park. My toddler absolutely loves this park. The ground is soft and the area is safe, so I couldn't be happier. I don't quite get the mini rock garden / alternative playground, so hopefully someone finds that fun or useful. If my son was any older he would certainly care that the zipline rarely seems to be up and working. Feels like a waste of space for 3/4 of each year. Maybe that alone knocks this park closer to a 4/4.5. Surprised how highschool students hang out here on their lunch sometimes. Doesn't seem to have much to offer them.

Warning to families visiting GECo Park. A woman has been riding a Ninebot motorized go-kart at full speed inside the playground area, even while children are present. These go-karts can reach speeds of up to 37 km/h and are meant for private property or closed tracks — not public parks. She nearly hit my toddler, and my mother had to pull him out of the way just in time. When confronted, the woman said she had the right to ride there and would continue doing so. This violates Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 608 and poses a serious safety risk. If you witness this, please kindly report it to 311 to help keep the park safe for families.

Really great park, I think suited best for younger children. One covered gazebo provides shade on sunnier days. Area is quiet and safe. Nice hidden gem!
