  Our daughter started at Gerrard Early Learning Centre when she was 18 months old--now she's 4 years old and almost ready to start Junior Kindergarten. This is a great daycare run by caring and warm people, and our daughter has really enjoyed her time here. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a creative, nurturing and dynamic environment for their child to grow in.

  Gerard early leaning centre is the best ever. My kid went to that day care for all most 2 years . He was in good hands. The staff are really amazing , helping and understanding.   Cannot say enough great things about the staff and facilities at GELC! We started here during the pandemic so did not have a typical daycare experience where we would normally get to go tour the space, meet the teachers and go in with our daughter but Lisa & Wei Wei were absolutely fabulous and answering all of our questions and putting our minds at ease. Communication is always prompt and pleasant, the food is great, daily updates and photos of our child were lovely and her development skyrocketed when she started here. Bonus - Victoria greeting us at the screening every morning was always lovely, you’d never meet a nicer person to trust your child with :)

  After doing our research and reading the reviews, we felt good about sending our toddler to GELC. Now I can say that we are confident that we made the right decision! We looked forward to the daily himama updates and photos that kept us connected. The teachers gave us feedback, and we got the strong sense that they really cared for our child. He was always in a good mood at drop offs and pick up. We like that the food was made fresh on site, and our son loved it. They had wonderful programming-cooking lessons, water play, and field trips to the park, library, and other community sites. They also hosted multiple events for parents to come and join. We are so happy with our time at GELC and would highly recommend it.

  I have lots to share about this daycare and my kid's experience there. But I want to mainly say Gerrard Centre took care of my kid during the worst pandemic times. My kid started going there when he was almost 2. The attention, care, kindness and healthy environment they provided him with made him grow better and become a happier child. I am a single mom and a new refugee. It has been so challenging without a community and a support system here. This daycare was his family alongside me. They made sure my kid was taken care of, playing, enjoying his time there, and he was always clean, happy and cheerful when I picked him up. I just wished he was a toddler for a few more years to enjoy that kind of healthy environment every child deserves :) We need more daycares in the area like Gerard Center. There are some small things to improve here and there but this is with everything in life. Thank you for being kind and caring for my kid during the worst times ever in our modern history and my life. Much gratitude, love and kindness from me and my little boy who still loves you a lot and know the direction to your center by HEART! <3
