Amazing. Our kids absolutely loved this section! The attention to detail was superb. So many “hidden” things to look for and find. We walked this twice and even saw woodpeckers. Highly recommend this beautiful gem.

Beautiful walk between tall trees. Creative bird houses and painted rocks. Lots of mosquitoes. Nice trails.

Gnome Road is such a cute hidden surprise. Someone tucked little gnome houses and figures all along this short wooded trail behind the houses. There are dozens of them (some painted, some with tiny doors and chairs) tucked into tree roots and rocks. It’s quiet, the path is easy, and kids go nuts looking for the next one. Takes maybe 15 minutes to walk but feels like a little fairy tale. Super charming find.

Quite a whimsical experience exploring every nook and cranny along Gnome Road. To reach it, park at Lot C in Bronte Creek Provincial Park, search “Gnome Road” on Maps, and take a short walk from the Playbarn area. It’s a well-maintained trail with the cutest collection of gnome and fairy homes — every little house feels like it tells its own story. Tip: If you’re visiting in summer, bring lots of mosquito spray!

came here on the first snowfall of the season and i’m so glad we did, it enhanced the magic and whimsy of this delightful little path!! however the parking fee at bronte conservation area is extremely steep at $18
