He was delayed in speech and the staff at Goodwin worked so hard at getting him up to speed in speech and language. They are amazing human beings and are phenomenal at their job.   I’ve been volunteering at Goodwin Academy Daycare (10468 Whalley), and honestly, it’s been such a positive experience for me. The staff there actually took the time to teach me how to work with kids properly, and I’ve learned so much—way more than I expected when I first started. They didn’t just throw random tasks at me or make me feel like I was only there to do chores. They made sure I got involved with the kids, helped me understand how to handle different situations, and overall just made me feel like part of the team. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Neetu Nagpal, the coordinator who helped set up my schedule. She made it super easy for me to balance my volunteering with my university classes, and I really appreciate how flexible and understanding she was. That kind of support made such a difference. Overall, I’m really happy I got to volunteer here. If you’re a student looking to get some real hands-on experience working with kids (without feeling like you’re just free labor), I’d definitely recommend Goodwin Academy.

  All three of my children have been to Goodwin academy. It truly is the best center I have ever had the pleasure of having my children attend. They teach your child how to read helped with potty training, and everything in between. Sadly my youngest is done with daycare and entering kindergarten, I will miss all the wonderful teachers. Thank you for taking such good care of my children
