The teachers & staff at GBC are wonderful and create a warm environment where children feel loved. I highly recommend the JK/SK program. They worked with my child to make learning a fun environment and she was reading at age 4. Prior to that, she thrived in the toddler room which was a mix of play and learning. We will miss GBC but are thankful for the foundation which has been laid and look forward to seeing this growth continue in our child for years to come.

I absolutely love great beginnings child care and I am so glad I made the switch when I did. My son has learned so much during the time he has been there. He’s recently moved into the preschool room and we are very happy with how the transition went. When my son was in the toddler room the care he received was amazing. At 2 years old he knew his ABCs, he could count to 13, point out all the letters of the alphabet, point out all his numbers to 10 and was grouping items while being able to tell you how many of those items are in the group! I cannot wait to see how he continues to grow during his time in great beginnings

My son has been at the daycare since he was 15 months. When I brought a concern to the teachers attention they worked with me to solve it at school and gave me great tips to work at with him at home so we were all on the same page. My son not only loves the kids at the daycare and is excited to go everyday but he really loves his teacher. We are always sad when a teacher he has grown to love leaves.

One of the best day care in Durham region. My kids have been going here for more than 2 years and I’m so thankful to the staff and principal for looking after them and teaching them through practical experiences. God bless!

My youngest son just completed about 2 and a half years at this daycare in Aug/2022. Prior to that my oldest son attended as well about 5 years ago and the experience was the same. The staff at the daycare is warm, welcoming and family oriented. They all work to support you and your child, to figure things out when there is an issue and work to a resolution. I normally do not complete full reviews like this but I definitely recommend this daycare as I have personally had a great experience twice. 💕.
