  We highly, highly recommend this daycare! Ms Maria and Mr Hawking are incredibly patient, caring, and full of love. They have wonderful methods in guiding children, making each child feel respected and supported. The environment is clean, bright, and very welcoming. Since our child joined, he has become happier, more thoughtful, and more caring toward others. He has also learned to be grateful and considerate, which makes us feel so proud. We are truly thankful and fortunate to have found this daycare—it has been such a positive and meaningful place for our child’s growth. 💕

  Don’t recommend based on our family’s experience. Our grandson was withdrawn from this daycare last month. During his time there, when he cried, we were often asked to pick him up early. We were told that he was having difficulty adjusting to the group. The reason it took us time to leave a review is that we initially thought the issue was our grandson being too sensitive. However, after transferring him to another daycare, within two weeks he became happy and comfortable. Instead of blame, we now receive encouragement and supportive communication. This contrast helped us realize that Happy Grace is not a good fit for our child.

  Happy Grace Childcare was such a special and heartwarming daycare when we first arrived in Canada. At first, I was simply looking for a summer camp for my two kids — but I ended up finding a daycare filled with love, patience, and genuine kindness. Summer programs were hard to find, and I’m so grateful that the teacher kindly agreed to take in both of my children after understanding our situation. My younger one didn’t speak English and had never been to school before. In the beginning, he struggled with separation anxiety and often cried during nap time. Maria patiently comforted him in both Chinese and English — I was truly touched by her care and dedication. Since his sister joined the same Montessori mixed-age class, we got to experience the school’s philosophy firsthand and witnessed both kids grow so much in just a few short weeks. They made new friends, gained confidence, and genuinely enjoyed learning. When the program came to an end, we all felt a little sad to say goodbye. Because we later enrolled in another daycare closer to home, this short but beautiful chapter had to end — but it left such a lasting impression. Many parents brought gifts to thank the teachers, and Maria even prepared small farewell presents for the kids — such a thoughtful and loving act that made everyone feel special. We’ll always remember the warmth and kindness from this beautiful place — thank you for giving my kids such a happy start to their Canadian journey.. Highly recommend it to families in Coquitlam!
