Our son attended Highland from the age of 13 months for two years. From the first day we met Ms. Sharon we immediately knew this would be a great choice for us. Ms. Julie and Ms. Mehri are both kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful teachers who take great care in instructing the kids. It was especially evident when our son would have a hard morning and they were able to calm him down. He learned a lot and especially enjoyed art and music. The other kids and parents are also all lovely and we very much enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them. The daycare is clean and safe and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get their little ones going on the right foot. We will miss being part of the Highland Family!
Hasti La Vista Events
This was our first daycare experience and while our daughter Mia didn’t begin until the age of 2, she was able to adapt right away and thrive. Her personality blossomed and her independence (and vocabulary) grew exponentially! She was putting on her shoes and jacket by herself within a week and even taught us new sign language signs that we hadn’t taught her yet. The exposure she constantly had to music, art, activities, socialization, and more was so amazing. She has learned so many new songs and is always singing them to us at home. Initially, we were only planning on having her attend a few days a week at most due to our flexible schedule but she loved it so much she went every day, full days, and then on weekends would ask to go back. The teachers and subs were all very kind, patient, friendly, educational, fun, and flexible. The daycare is clean and it’s a great space! It was a wonderful experience and we will miss seeing the smiling faces of teachers now that our daughter is older and moving to an older age group daycare. Thank you again for the wonderful memories.

We really liked the environment of the daycare during our tour. Ms. Sharon was very accommodating and very welcoming during our visit. My daughter was immediately exploring the place, and participated in circle time. Ms Julie and Ms Mehri seemed lovely and attentive to the children there. Unfortunately, due to our own work schedules, we weren’t able to make it work. Hopefully someday down the road we’ll be able to have the pleasure of joining a daycare like this!

My daughter has been in daycare for almost 1 year. She is happy during weekdays :). The environment is clean, safe, and engaging. The interactions between kids and teachers are positive and lovely. My daughter loves the meal BTW :). We highly recommend this daycare.

My daughter attended Highland this last year from ages 2-3. This was her first daycare experience and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Ms Sharon, Ms Julie, and Ms Mehri are wonderfully kind and caring. The daycare itself is very beautiful and set up in a thoughtful way and very clean. My daughter learned so much from her teachers, new songs, letters and numbers, and so much more. I am especially impressed with just how much the teachers empower the kids to be independent- putting on their own jackets, packing away their lunch kit, etc. We also appreciated the thoughtful special activities they organized like crazy hair day, messy art day, planting plants, making pizza, Christmas concert, etc. I also appreciated how supportive the teachers were when my daughter was going through life changes and transitions like being super supportive with potty training, talking to her about being a big sister when our second child was on the way, talking to her about the new daycare she will go to. All that support whether physical or emotional, helped my daughter so much. My daughter enjoyed her time at the daycare, she loved her teachers and friends. Now that my daughter has aged out of the daycare, we are so sad to go! But we feel confident that our daughter will excel in her new daycare thanks to the positive experience she had and the skills she learned here. Thanks so much Ms Sharon, Ms Julie, and Ms Mehri! All this to say, if you’re looking for a daycare for your child, I would highly recommend Highland.
