This was our experience at House of Angels for the 3 months our child was there. Hours of operation are 8am-5pm. On the first day of drop off at about 810, we were asked if we could drop off closer to 830 for 'summer hours'. We said we are going to work and need to drop off closer to 8am. On a few occasions, we have had to wait several minutes for the owner Mary to answer the door. In the first month, our child came back with a dirty diaper / dirty bum on 3 occasions. This never happened once at our last daycare in almost 3 years. When the owner Mary and other daycare workers were informed about this, the response was essentially, it was not their fault and that they know what they're doing. Mary asked if we wanted them to send a picture after they wiped our child's bum. There was very little, if any day-to-day feedback provided on how our child was doing, though they did send pictures of the kids playing. It would have been helpful to get a brief summary of how they slept, ate, socializing, etc. On one of our last days there, Mary said that we should inform our new daycare that our child needs 'special attention' being quite shy. We were told this once before but never anything about what the daycare was actually doing to help if this was such a concern. (Since moving to our new daycare, we were told in the first week that our child plays well with the other kids. This was without telling them about the supposed need for 'special attention'.) The kids at House of Angels are randomly given ice cream or freezie for an afternoon snack / treat. One time, it was minutes before pickup. We kindly asked that our child not be given any of these sugary snacks and were told that the children are given a choice between the special treat or their home snack. A pack of wet wipes that should last about 1 month was used up in less than a week and asked to be replenished. Diapers were also being used noticeably faster than the previous day care. A plastic food container that was given to us as a gift came back with the handles broken. It was found in the bottom of our child's backpack with no explanation. When asked about it the next day, the response was that it broke when the daycare worker was opening it but such products are cheaply made and things happen. When first signing up with the daycare, we were told that potty training needs to be consistent at home and at daycare. We did not feel that we received any support in potty training our child other than the daycare staff asking if our child needed to use the potty. Our experience at House of Angels was that we received limited communication and collaboration regarding our child's care even when we raised concerns. Hopefully, by sharing our experience we can provide useful feedback for the daycare.

Our twins thrived during their early years at the daycare, and much of that progress is thanks to Mary. From the very beginning, she has been a wonderful childcare provider patient, caring, and deeply committed to the children she supports. We are truly grateful for her dedication and for the positive difference she has made in our children’s early development.

As an Early Childhood Education student, it was a great experience to complete my observation hours at (House of Angels) as part of my studies. From the moment I arrived, I noticed how clean, organized, and safe the environment is—both inside and outside. The play areas are well-maintained, and the toys are age-appropriate and in excellent condition. The center offers activities that help children learn through play, explore new ideas, and enjoy their time at the center. Mary, the manager, creates a warm, safe, and welcoming place. She shows care and strong leadership throughout the center. Bianca is a kind and professional teacher who clearly loves working with children—her experience is reflected in the caring, respectful, and meaningful relationships she builds with each child. This center truly provides a caring, secure environment where children can learn and grow happily. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Parents can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands at House of Angels, supported by both a great manager and a lovely, talented teacher.

I have known Mary since 2016. My two children started there and then my two other children followed so all 4 children over 11 years! Mary and the ladies have been nothing short of amazing. They helped me so much and Mary was always willing to help me out above and beyond anything I could have asked for. Mary is an extention to our family my children still talk about being in her daycare. Bianca has been a lovley long time caregiver and I have been able to watch her grow and learn into a wonderful childcare provider. Mary has students come in to support the early childhood community and she really takes care about who comes in to work in her childcare centre. Being there for alomst 11 years there are bound to be ups and downs but Mary is open and willing to work with us through any concerns we have. Mary and Bianca provide a very safe warm loving childcare center with fun planed activities that the kids love to do with them. I highly recomend this daycare. Mary and Bianca were always there for us and our children they really made sure that our kids always had a safe fun warm loving place to go to. Now all of the kids are in elementary school and are well adjusted and thriving because of the exposure to group settings with Ms. Mary and the wonderful ladies that work at House of Angels.

My son began attending at house of angels since he was 14 months old. As a first time mom I was nervous with the daycare transition. Ms Mary and her team went above and beyond for communication and always letting me know with full transparency how my child was doing. The team prioritized collaborative care with us and always considered our feelings and perspectives. It’s been over a year and our little one has found his community at House of Angels. We appreciate all the care that Ms Bianca and the team put everyday. Fun child friendly activities that always incorporate a learning aspect and outdoor play. We would highly recommend House of Angels to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their little ones.
