I cannot say enough positive things about Huron Playschool. The teachers are caring, patient, and genuinely love to play and interact with kids! Also there is LOTS of outdoor play. They are being extremely responsibly in following the COVID 19 measures. I feel safe sending my child there during these challenging times.

We have been at the after school program at Huron Playschool for over two years, and it an amazing place. It is especially helpful for both parents and children in the transition to JK. The playschool teachers are able to provide a lot of feedback to parents about how their children are doing, and the tight-knit community eases the stress of those early weeks of the new school setting. I highly recommend Huron Playschool for both nursery and after school care.

Our almost 3 year old daughter started play school at Huron this September and loves it already. We thought it would be a major adjustment for her, but the teachers have done a wonderful job engaging and reassuring her when she is missing us. They keep the lil ones busy with various activities and songs. It’s a cooperative, so it’s a great opportunity to be part of a community and get involved (and you get a discount) but it’s not mandatory if that doesn’t work for you. We highly recommended Huron Play School.

My family and I moved to Toronto from the US in the summer of 2018. Our son had just turned two and we were looking to build our community and give him some daily socialization. A neighbour told us about Huron Playschool and it immediately became the best part about our new city. Our son had been in a pretty great daycare prior to moving, but Playschool was a whole other level. The teachers are warm and caring, they give frequent feedback, and know the kids so so well. At Playschool, we found the great community we were looking for, we met amazing families, and we learned a lot about how to interact with two and three-year-olds. Don't hesitate to send your child here. They will learn, grow, and feel so loved at Playschool.

So happy we chose Huron Playschool. The teachers are wonderful and the schedule of activities for the kids is really well constructed. It’s been our daughter’s first time in childcare and, even though, she’s still adjusting to being away from us, she talks so much about the “awesome” things she gets to do with her teachers and new friends. Thank you for providing an “awesome” and safe place for our daughter during these uncertain COVID times!
