  I went to an adult class. They had many grown women in one small room. They told my friend they normally pack 10 into the room. They told me 8 my suggestion was six. Maybe they think people don’t talk to each other but my friend and I joined the class together. The instructor was away for the very first class and she didn’t leave a class plan so the fill-in instructor let us know that the next class would be completely different and we would not build on anything we learned in the first class. Teenage students from the school were in the hall, looking in the room and laughing. They were watching their mothers, but it made myself and my friend feel very uncomfortable and we voiced it to the instructor. She did not go and asked the students to leave my friend close the door, but the room became extremely hot as there was no air circulation in there. When the other class ended, we were able to move into the bigger room, which was better suited for our class size being that we are grown women and not tiny. I found the owner to be argumentative when giving feedback which led to this review.

  I signed up for the adult hip hop class and was so excited to learn some moves and change up the gym routine. I arrived for the first class and was beyond disappointed. They had 8 women (30-50 years of age) crammed into a room that was maybe 10x10. There was no room to move or dance properly. There were dancers whose moms were in the class and they stood at the door and laughed at us and made fun of us. I shut the door and they continued to stand and laugh at us, while we all roasted in the tiny room. Their moms did nothing to stop it nor did the instructor intervene when it was brought to their attention how uncomfortable we were. I did not return after the first week . When the studio owner/manager reached out at the second last class to ask about payment I let her know I did not attend past the first class and my reasons why. She proceeded to tell me that usually there are 10 adults in that room!!!! She also said she wished I had let her know…..the instructor knew, we voiced our concerns not my issue if there is no communication of the participants concerns. I am truly disappointed as I was so excited about this class and couldn’t wait to go only to find out I couldn’t wait to leave and not return.

  My daughter is 4yrs old. She wanted go back to dance classes. I was looking for other studios that has good dance floors, clean spaces and most importantly the quality of the class. We decided to go with Hype Danz because teachers were amazing. There was no gaps during 1hr class that we chose so kids can pay attention to instructions. Margarita who organized the trial and setup the enrollment was amazing. She also confirmed again some important information as well which I really liked it.

  My grand daughter recently had a lovely experience at Hype Danz. She was offered a trial class to check it out. We were give a tour of the facility which is bright and clean. All staff were welcoming and helpful. A full colour brochure provided all the information we needed. The class was excellent. The teachers were engaged and made her feel comfortable- plus she just had so much fun! Now she's signed up and ready to dance.

  We had an amazing experience at Hype Danz! Margarita provided us with a free trial class for our 3.5-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved it. The environment was fun, positive, and engaging, and our daughter felt comfortable and excited right away. We were so impressed that we signed up the same day and are really looking forward to the upcoming classes.
