Last week, Philippa, France, and I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas luncheon at Il Fornello Restaurant in Oakville. We were truly impressed with the cuisine was exceptional, beautifully prepared and presented, and full of flavour. Equally memorable was the personable service provided by Megan, who went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. We will certainly be back. Thank you to the entire team, and to Skål, for helping make the afternoon so special.

We arrived without a reservation on a busy holiday weekend. We were promptly seated at a pleasant table. The restaurant was quite full, and I suspect there might have been a wait for larger parties. The fried calamari was delicious and expertly prepared. My only suggestion would be a larger portion size for the $21 price point. The children's meals were satisfactory in size and flavor, and the children enjoyed them very much. However, for $13, I would have expected a beverage or dessert to be included, rather than just the main course. The pizza and pasta dishes were excellent, with generous portions, delicious flavors, and a well-balanced use of salt and spices. The spicy oil was a delightful complement to both the pizza and pasta. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

I've been several times, my daughter has to have gluten free and there are sufficient choices for her. Food is delicious and never dissapppoints.

I love coming here. Today was my 5th visit! The service is always so friendly and personal. The fresh pastas and pizza are delicious. My favorite being the pizza affumicata. For desert, creme brulee with a nice shot of limoncello. Love to return again.

Stumbled across this place because we were in the plaza and decided to try it out because it was packed on a Friday night. Was greeted by a lovely hostess and someone I assume was the manager/owner. Got seated right away. We had the Hugo spritz and the Mafalde ai Funghi. The drinks and food came out super quickly. The best Mafalde ai Funghi I’ve ever had!!! Portion sizes were good for the price as well. We will be back to try the pizzas! The staff are all very friendly. 10/10!
