  This is an amazing play school. Mrs. Haws and Mrs. Gail are amazing at their jobs and they really care about the children and getting them ready for kindergarten. I have seen such an improvement in my daughter in the last two years and she loves every second of school. I highly recommend for all the little ones.

  I have had the pleasure of having 3 of my 4 children attend In The Neighborhood Playschool. The teacher (Mrs. Haws) and teacher's aid (Miss Gail) always demonstrate great team work, they have been teaching together since 2010 and their bond and passion in teaching the children shows. They always have a plan set in place and make sure they both get to know the kids to make sure the child's needs are met. The themed curriculum plans are set out in fun ways through games, crafts, field trips and books. Both teachers create a fun, warm and welcoming experience and environment for child and parent alike. This is what brought us back to In The Neighborhood Playschool each time.

  This school was welcoming, accepting and good at communicating. My twin girls started a bit into the year and we moved and left before the end of the year and the process was good and relatively easy. The kids have 2 (one large and one small) playgrounds to play on. Open atmosphere to mingle with the older kids. A great basement for hosting events or fun for the kids on colder or rainy days. A wonderful play zone, a little guinea pig classpet, as well as tons of songs, activities and field trips for the kids to attend and experience. They even cook with them. Would highly recommend this parent cooperative preschool with all it's wonderful fun and the kind teachers Mrs.Haws & Miss.Gail. :) If you're interested in meeting new parents in the community the board is also a great place to do that. :) Take care and have fun. :)

  Both of our children have attended this excellent playschool. Class sizes are small and it is evident that safety is paramount. The longstanding staff team works well together and consistently demonstrates their commitment to open-ended early childhood programming. Their program plans are thoughtful, well organized, age appropriate, and culturally inclusive. The classroom is clean and beautiful with a wide range of play options for the children to engage in. The children are well cared for, treated with respect and through daily routines are encouraged to develop age appropriate independence and social skills. They regularly book in-class and offsite field trips/experiences to enhance themes that are being explored. My children both looked forward to attending each day and had many new experiences to share with us when they got home! The communication from the teachers and the board is excellent. Would highly recommend this playschool to others.

  I have had all three of my children attend this playschool. Mrs. Haws and Miss Gail are absolutely wonderful. Two of the most caring teachers you will encounter. The school itself has a very welcoming setting. There is a fantastic playground right outside the school. I highly recommend this school. :)
