What to expect

This spot is a restaurant and lounge, suggesting it caters to a general audience that includes families. While not exclusively for children, its broad appeal means parents can likely find something on the menu to satisfy younger diners. The lounge aspect might mean it's more suitable for older children or during specific times.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Isabelle Restaurant and had such a wonderful experience. We chose the three-course dinner, and everything from start to finish was amazing. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and we truly enjoyed every bite. The service was just as impressive, attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel special. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Pearle Hotel for three nights during our fall travel to Niagara Falls and had the opportunity to dine at Isabelle for breakfast daily and dinner on our final night. The space itself is fantastic—modern, beautifully designed, and offering an incredible, unobstructed view of Lake Ontario that really elevates the meal. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast was consistently high-quality. The menu offers fresh, well-prepared options, and the atmosphere in the morning is noticeably quiet and calm, making it a great place to start the day. One of the biggest perks is the flexibility; we never needed a reservation for breakfast and were seated immediately each morning. Dinner Experience: For dinner, I definitely recommend booking ahead. The menu has a good variety of local ingredients; the Ontario trout was a highlight and very flavorful. While the lamb arrived overcooked, the staff was extremely professional and corrected the issue immediately. We finished the meal with the cherry crumble, which was a standout dessert and a perfect end to the night. Overall experience: Service - The team is friendly and attentive, clearly aiming to make things right if a dish isn't perfect. Noise Levels - If you prefer a quieter meal, breakfast is the way to go. Dinner is much more vibrant and high-energy. Seating - If the weather allows, try to request a table on the patio or near the floor-to-ceiling windows to fully enjoy the lakefront setting. Conclusion: Isabelle Restaurant & Lounge is a beautiful spot with reliable service. Even with a small execution error on the main, their quick response made for a great final evening.

We had dinner at Isabelle Restaurant & Lounge during our anniversary stay at The Pearle Hotel, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent—beautifully presented and full of flavour. We started with the crispy calamari, which was delicious, and followed it with the Nova Scotia Lobster Linguini and the 12oz Striploin. Both mains were cooked to perfection, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. One small note: the steak was pre-sliced before being served, which felt a bit unusual to me personally, as I typically prefer to cut it myself. That said, it didn’t take away from how enjoyable the dish was. I also tried one of their cocktails, and while it wasn’t quite to my taste, that could just come down to personal preference. The atmosphere was romantic and cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. They even acknowledged our anniversary with a courtesy glass of champagne before seating us outside, where we enjoyed the beautiful weather and a stunning sunset view. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel even more special. Highly recommend if you’re staying at the hotel or simply looking for a memorable dining experience in the area. Please also not it’s on the pricey side for two of us with tips it was about $400.

Checked out Isabelle Restaurant and Lounge inside the Pearle Hotel in Burlington this past summer. We went on a Monday during our vacation so we could take advantage of their happy hour, and it was totally worth it. The two dollar shucked oysters were great, and their half-price pastas gave us the perfect excuse to try a few dishes. The ravioli cacio e pepe ended up being the star of the night — easily the standout dish for us. The patio was huge and beautiful, giving the whole place a relaxed summer vibe. Service was good, food was good, and the location in downtown Burlington made it easy to walk around afterward. The menu has changed since we visited, but I’m sure their current offerings are just as solid. We’d definitely go back, especially for that patio in the summer. Solid 7.9 for the area. #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot

I visited Isabelle Restaurant for my birthday lunch with my husband and two kids (ages 5 and 6), and it was a sweet experience! We chose the outdoor seating, which felt so fresh and lovely. While it can get a bit noisy when it’s busy, the atmosphere remains very pleasant. Most importantly, it is incredibly kids-friendly! They provided coloring activities and had a great kids' menu, which kept my little ones happy. The staff was attentive, and the entire place was spotless. The pricing is fair not too cheap, but not overpriced. A super cozy spot for a family celebration!
