My first time visiting this park, it was a very pretty park!. we were first greeted by a pond with a whole bunch of mallard ducks♡ it was also wheelchair accessible, My mom uses a Walker. She was able to use the bathroom easily. We will go back another time and walk on the straight path. Instead of going up the hill...LOL

Cute place to walk. Leads to Humber river trails and other parks. Nice clean trails. Was busy, but visited on a weekend. Parking was difficult given the amount of people there.

Well maintained, clean and gorgeous park. Lots of space for a family outing. Biking and walking trails under a canopy of green trees next to the river. Highly recommend!!! Birds, squirrels and ducks in the park.

James Gardens is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful parks in Toronto. The gardens are perfectly maintained, with stunning flowers, charming bridges, and scenic walking paths along the Humber River. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing walk, enjoying nature, or taking beautiful photos. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and very welcoming for everyone. A true hidden gem in Etobicoke that I highly recommend visiting if you want to escape the busy city and enjoy a quiet moment in nature.

The biodiversity here is a treasure; I’ve captured pictures of red-tailed hawks, nuthatches, foxes, and groundhogs. If you’re quiet, deer will graze just 5 feet away. On a good day, you might even see them crossing the river. However, I’m rating this 2 stars because we are losing what makes this space special. It serves as a critical wildlife corridor with very few green spaces left in the city like it. It’s important to remember: this is NOT St. James Park downtown. While it has some flower beds by the main parking lot, the space for personal backdrops is actually limited, yet people treat it like a photo set for birthday parties and engagements (often not picking up after themselves). To make it worse, in summer time, the trail is treated like a Tour de France. Speeding cyclists often get annoyed, some even aggressive, for having to brake/stop for people walking the trail. So yeah, not great for families, seniors, or people walking their dogs. It's sad because this place is lovely. However, it's doing too much. It's trying to be a nature trail, bicycle path, and a "party" spot all at the same time and sadly it's not working.
