It's not easy to trust your baby in someone else's care when you go back to work, but when my husband and I met Althea at Kids Grow With Love, we knew our little one would be in good hands. She was passionate and gave us confidence that our 1 yr old boy would be nurtured in a safe and loving environment. Althea is not a babysitter, she provides the highest quality childcare. She is committed to seeing every child reach their individual potential. When my child left for preschool at 3 1/2 years old he was learning way past what I expected because Althea could recognize his abilities and encouraged him in his strengths and interests while working with him patiently where he needed more help. Also, she made sure he ate and slept well and enjoyed his day with friends. I never went to work worried if my son was going to be ok. Althea's caring nature extended to our whole family too. She encouraged and gave support to us as new parents and was always willing to listen or just ask about our day. I would recommend Kids Grow With Love to everyone!

If you're looking to place you're child in a healthy loving home daycare...this is it. I am going to be honest with you parents reading this review. I had previously had placed my daughter in a facility type daycare centre when I returned to work from Mat leave. She would have been 1 y/o. It was the only place I thought I could trust my child with, so I thought. Until the world's circumstances changed. I had lost my job during the pandemic and was able to find another job. This is when I started exploring the possibilities of a home a daycare because of what I experienced in the centre setting. As soon as I met Miss Althea, I knew she was the person/ care giver/ mom/ auntie I could trust with my most precious gift. I don't think I can express in words how happy we were to find Miss Althea to care for our daughter. She is aligned with our beliefs in so many ways and she offered me as a mom that piece of mind that my daughter would be safe, cared for, nurtured and taught all the things she needed to know at her age as she grew. My daughter was in Miss Althea's care from 2.5 years old to 5 years old. Miss Althea helped prepare her socially and academically for the school transition into SK Miss Althea is an amazing human...God sent....really!!! No coincidence in our meeting. I feel so blessed to have met her and to still have her in our lives...I told her this all the time...because it's true :). My daughter still asks about "Miss Althea" and when when we will visit and call her because he misses her and her friends at daycare. She definitely impacted our lives positively. KIdz Grow With Love is the best daycare in the GTA. My son was having difficulty with speech at two years old when we enrolled him at kidz grow with love. After six months my son had started saying some words already.

This is a huge shout-out for Althea for being so amazing and I must say, experience does speak. Being new to Canada, both me and my husband were busy job hunting and settling in the new environment. Finding KGWL in our first week itself was a huge blessing. We started sending our little one to Althea when he was 17 months old and trust me he adjusted there within a week's time. We started seeing wonderful changes in him. Be it learning to say new words, having his meals independently or learning to walk. Althea has played a major role in all of this and much more. She always gave us detailed feedback on our son's routine at the daycare during pick-ups . Being away from family, Althea has been a family to us guiding us(first time parents) on our son's physical and intellectual development. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for being so wonderful at what she does and recommend her to anyone looking for a best daycare option.
