With the school being closed for sometime now the area around the school yard is in disarray with broken beer and wine bottles, used syringes, and dog waste. At night, the sodium lamps still work and the fields are still in good shape.

It's a nice park. Love having wood chips instead of sand. Only issue is that people in the area have a bad habit of not cleaning up their dog poop.

In this community MOST people make sure to pick up after their pets and put it in the trash receptacles in the park. This helps to give the park and Recreation team less work when trying to maintain and beautify the park for the kids. Most of the parents also help by making sure that when the kids are playing in the park they do not rough House to cause injuries to other kids.
