  Miss Kandy is an excellent teacher who truly cares about her students. She is very good at working with the kids and helping them with any problems they may have. Her tutors have been very kind, knowledgeable and helpful as well. From what I've observed, The Kumon program has been very effective for kids to gain critical thinking skills and the mindset to learn materials independently and at their own pace. For anyone who is thinking about enrolling their children in an after school program to further improve upon their math and reading skills I would strongly recommend this place.

  I am absolutely delighted with the phenomenal progress my daughters have made at Kandy's Kumon Center! Under the exceptional guidance of Kandy and her team of dedicated teachers, my daughters have flourished academically in both math and reading. Since enrolling last May, my daughters have surpassed all expectations. With the support and expertise of the teachers, they quickly mastered essential math concepts and problem-solving techniques, leading to a significant improvement in their performance. What's even more remarkable is their newfound confidence and independence in math, no longer relying on their fingers to calculate. 😄 Moreover, Kandy's Kumon Center has instilled a love for reading in my daughters.   My daughter has been going to this kumon location at Whitby mall for about 3 months and all she does in maths is basic addition and subtraction. And she is in grade 3. For these past 3 months she has not learnt anything new and going to this kumon location was absolutely waste of money and time. Not sure if other kumon location are like this or they teach things differently but this 3 months has been a total waste of time and money. My daughter in these 3 months did not learn anything new and was not taught anything new at this kumon location. I do not recommend this kumon location to anyone. Not sure if kumon is the right fit or place for my child or any other child or not. All they give is a note book to completed by my daughter and when asked at the center they just check their homework or make them do the notebook and that’s all. Nothing new is taught or has been taught in these past 3 months. When asked I was told they will switch the topics and move to the next Level but nothing new was taught to my daughter in these 3 months. Absolutely waste of time and money.
