An excellent Francophone daycare - and part of the canada-wide early learning program ($10/day daycare). The key point: educators who CARE - we routinely had tough drop offs with our kids through the toddler years and the educators would pick them up, hug them, pat them, comfort them. There's no revolving door aspect - most of the teachers have been mainstays in the same classroom for 8+ years (many in the 20+ year range!!). They also invest so much time into planning activities, crafts, etc. Hot, healthy and balanced meals prepared on-site fresh daily, fun classrooms filled with stimulating activities, bimonthly dance classes, weekly guitarist sing-alongs (well, until the higher level administration stopped that), two large outdoor play areas with jungle gyms, an indoor play gym area... The establishment is well-maintained, well-lit, safe and so child-centred. The staff on site are client-focused. Our younger kid has one year left at Coxwell before starting school, and I am so thankful for the happy baby/toddler/preschool environment she's grown up in. School-based daycares are rarely so clean (happens, kids running around, hallways are dirty) - so I appreciate the standard of cleanliness here.

My son is in the immersion program - the only one in Toronto for families who speak basic to no french in the home. Today - i dropped in and he said - go away muma, this is my place! He loves it. He eats well - fresh nutritious food, he has new friends, his educators are excellent and the rest of the staff at Coxwell are welcoming and supportive. An excellent introduction into the language.

My daughter absolutely loves LPCR. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, providing a nurturing environment that's evident in her happiness. The quality of food they offer is exceptional! It's a place where children flourish under the care of dedicated professionals!!

My daughter has been at this location since she was 18 months old and has loved every minute of it. The teachers are caring, the classrooms have natural light coming in and are spacious, they have a little playground at the back, an in-house chef to prepare hot meals and most importantly, my daughter can continue to hone her French skills, which is an integral part of our family. We are grateful to have this gem in our neighbourhood.

This is a truly wonderful daycare. Our child’s French linguistic skills are developing at a rapid pace, he is well fed with delicious, nutritious food that is made on-site, and most importantly, is extremely happy every single day at drop off. The teachers are caring and invest so much of their time and energy into the children under their care. We feel thankful to have a spot in this wonderful daycare.
