I was a patient of Dr. Li's for the last few years. Recently, I had an emergency care need that ended up requiring attention over an existing scheduled cleaning appointment. The staff did not cancel my existing scheduled appointment even though they were fully aware of the emergency care I needed - they saw me to diagnose the issue and referred me for the care. They subsequently attempted to secure a missed appointment penalty. I didn't agree, and they became downright unprofessional in pursuit of the penalty fee. Above multiple passive-agressive e-mails, they even attempted to secure my credit card info from an admin colleague at my work. They admitted this was offside. I think a clinic that has made thousands of dollars from me and my family over the years can do a better job of taking ownership of an administrative error. A very poor experience.

My husband and I were patients of Dr Li's for some time. We actually came through a personal referral. Unfortunately my husband had an emergency dental situation that ended up requiring attention over an existing scheduled cleaning appointment. Instead of cancelling the existing scheduled appointment they tried to charge him for missing it. They were quite belligerent and rude in demanding he provide his credit card information. Then, they decided they would not book a follow up for his emergency procedure unless he paid a deposit. I could not believe how we were treated after being patients for such a long time and given how much we had spent with them over the years. The office staff is a reflection of how you value your patients and for that reason I would not recommend this dental practice.

His approach is both patient and thorough and he and his excellent team take every step possible to ensure that you understand each step of the work that they do - and genuinely care about. I have been a patient of this practice for more than two years now. This is the only practice that I feel safe and not pressured into expensive treatments. Scare tactics are not used and the dentist is extremely patient and caring. He listens genuinely and does not rush. The hygienists are awesome and pleasant. The receptionists are kind and understanding. This dental healthcare provider seems to encompass all the good ethical behaviour of the past and is carrying it to the future.
