  The staff at Light Of The World make you and your child feel special. They treat my child with love and respect and kindness. The center adapts their approach to the individual needs of the children in their care. It is not a one kind fits all approach. If required, they will bring in outside supports to assist and ensure that your child is happy, successful and growing under their care and guidance. My child has grown & developed significantly in the four months attending this center. I have interacted with staff from different classrooms and they all know my child. They are always happy to see us and we are greeted with warm smiles and greetings. All the staff I have met demonstrate these same great qualities. We feel welcome and looked after here. The facilities are brand new and amazing and are the icing on the cake that wraps up into a great package of child care. They have a huge gymnasium for gross motor play, outdoor play areas, including one covered with heated floors. Child-size facilities for washing and toileting and home cooked meals on premises cooked especially for our children. The care is divided between playing with toys, drawing & building activities, reading, letter recognition and so much more. Days are structured and my little one thrives in this loving setting. I would highly recommend this child care to parents. This is child care at its best. Two years later and I still think that this daycare is the best. My child is in the kindergarten class now and my child continues to thrive under the care and supervision of Ms Ishika. I see great advancements in language development as well as socialization. Self esteem is nurtured in this classroom setting which can only enhance learning. Plan to keep my child here for as long as possible. This is a perfect setting for our young precious children.

  I highly recommend Light of the World Christian Childcare Center. My daughter attended this center, starting in the preschool room and moving to kindergarten. The education she received here was top-notch—she was actually the only one in her class who could write and form words, which is a testament to the high-quality teaching provided. The main reason we chose to continue her education at the center, especially for kindergarten, was because of Ms. Ishika. She took the time to build strong, positive relationships with both my daughter and all the children in her care. My daughter still talks about Ms. Ishika and even requests to visit her, which speaks volumes about the impact she had. Many of the other parents in our group also often mention how much they wish Ms. Ishika could be their children’s tutor. Additionally, the center is always clean, well-maintained, and up-to-date with the latest educational tools and resources. It’s a wonderful place for children to grow and learn, and we are truly grateful for the care and attention my daughter received here.

  For our second child we really took the time to visit daycares, ask questions and talk to staff. Right from entering the door the day of our visit, we felt very at ease. We knew Light of the World Childcare Centre was the place for our little one. A few things that also helped us make the decision to enroll our daughter is that the food is cooked onsite, if students are not able to go outside there is a HUGE gymnasium for gross motor activities, and we were told we would receive photos throughout the day of our daughter interacting in various activities. The posts made on the parent app makes us feel like we are part of our daughter's day, as we are kept up to date via photos on outdoor/gross motor activities, food she ate and various activities she participates in on a daily basis. Our daughter has been at Light of the World Childcare Centre for almost 2 years and the growth we have seen in her is tremendous!! This is all due to the dedication of her teachers she has been so fortunate to have!! Our daughter is currently in the Kindergarten class and coming to "school" is all she can think about. When she is away she can't wait to go back and see her friends and teachers. This speaks volumes to me, as she feels safe and loved. I am confident to say that so much work goes into programming, creating a sense of belonging, and working through those fundamental and foundational skills for children to start school.

  I can't think of a better childcare provider than Light of the World Childcare Centre. My child was well taken care of, loved by his teachers and learned a lot during his time at the centre. All the educators in each of the classrooms - Infant, Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten were fantastic. Ms. Ishika (current supervisor) and Ms. Donna (former supervisor) were great to communicate with. I am so glad that we chose Light of the World for our child.

My daughter has since moved on to regular school, but my little one, who is three, will be there until September—and I’m already feeling emotional about him leaving!
